90 Day Fiance personality Andrei Castravet has landed himself in the hot chair. He is currently reviewing his visa to stay in the USA with his wife, Elizabeth Potthast. This has to do with if he will be able to stay in America with her. But some questions pop up that put him on edge. And he is unsure whether or not to lie about his past.

Andrei is told that immigration will have information on any crimes he may have committed in the past. His criminal record follows him around the world. So when Elizabeth asks if he has one, he says no. His wife asks him if he is absolutely sure about this. She really thinks it is in his best interest, to tell the truth. Then he is told that if he is hiding any information, he will be put into deportation.

Does the TLC Star Is Have a Criminal Past?

As seen on 90 Day Fiance, Andrei Castravet and his wife, Elizabeth Potthast go to Moldova for a 2nd wedding. When her family gets to Moldova, they are told that Andrei can not legally be there. Before meeting Elizabeth, he left Moldova to go to Ireland He says that while a police officer in Moldova, his superior officers forced him to take part in illegal activity. And this put his life in danger, so he fled.

According to “Andrei, when he refused to do any more illegal activity, he left so that he would not get killed. Elizabeth did not learn about this until after they were married. But she loves him anyway. This is one of the reasons he has such a strained relationship with her family.

90 Day Fiance: Andrei Castravet Can’t Go Back

Andrei Castravet from 90 Day Fiance risked going back to Moldova once to have a second marriage to his wife so his family could attend. But if he were to be deported there he is afraid he will get killed by people there or thrown in jail. Not to mention he would be taken away from Elizabeth Potthast.

So once the immigration lawyer asks if he has a criminal record, he must be truthful. He has already told an immigration lawyer that he has no history. At least that’s what is shown on the TLC show.

Elizabeth wants him to be honest, so they don’t take him away. Spoiler alert: In upcoming episodes, Andrei’s minor transgressions are largely ignored and he’s allowed to stay in America.
