1000-lb Sisters personality Michael Halterman seemed like the most excited father when it was announced his wife was pregnant. Amy Slaton has always dreamed of being a mom, and her husband wanted to make that happen for her. He helped her lose enough weight to get approved for weight loss surgery.

When she was told her pregnancy was going to be very high risk, he was supportive of that. Even though he did let her sneak snacks, she thought the baby needed. She later says that they were her pregnancy cravings. He made sure the baby had everything he needed in the womb and now apparently out of the womb as well. Michael shows off his dad’s skills with feeding the baby and lulling him to sleep. His social media has a very loving video of Gage Halterman.

Michael is nowhere near the size where Amy started, but now it seems like his wife may shrink right past him. The sister from 1000 Pound Sisters has already gone from 400 pounds to 270. And perhaps vacation dinners don’t help towards losing weight. Perhaps them both chasing little Gage Halterman around when he starts walking will be enough exercise. Michael Halterman from 1000-lb Sisters again isn’t a very big guy. But he may now weigh more than his wife, who is famous for being overweight. Amy Slaton has mentioned how she has had to buy her baby daddy bigger pants. So not only is Gage Halterman a growing boy, but so is his dad Michael.

Michael does get a good work out though. So don’t peg him as an out-of-shape man. He gets in his arms, core, and legs by pushing Tammy Slaton, who is 665 pounds, around. This perfect mix of snacks and muscle always helps get dads to the perfect shape. Many people refer to this as a dad bod. It looks like both Amy and Michael are on track for their perfect bodies.
