Since some fans do tend to come at her for what she shares, she has started cutting back on the Gage content. This goes hand in hand with the fact that season three is starting to be filmed.
However, that hasn’t stopped Tammy Slaton, Amy’s sister, also from 1000-lb Sisters from posting things about her life. Amy does tend to be a bit more reserved and focused on family and friends more than her sister. She tells the world that it was literally her dream to have a baby, and now that it has come true, she is enjoying it. Gage is drinking his bottle, and she makes a joke from his perspective. “I drunk my bottle… My bottle drunk!!!”

She and her husband, Michael Halterman, were elated to just find out that they were having a baby. They knew the risks, with Amy being 288 pounds and only for months in from healing after gastric bypass surgery.
Having a child did push back Amy’s weight loss, but that does not mean having Gage was a bad thing. As a mom, she has found new confidence in the world. She says that having a happy and healthy baby at that point in her life was not only a miracle but a blessing. The tidbits she throws at fans about what is happening in their life after Gage was born sends them into a frenzy.

Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters has given away small adventures she has taken Gage Halterman on. She has even shared little milestones. She let fans know when he started eating with a spoon and testing the waters with solid foods. Amy also posts a pic of every holiday to remind fans that baby outfits are very cute. Most recently, she shares that Gage went swimming for the first time, and it looked like he enjoyed it.
