Fans of her reality show suggested that Amy Slaton looked inebriated in this video as she talked about her new man, Kevin. At one point, she cocked her head and took a swig of red wine.
This was a tell-tale sign to 1000-Lb Sisters fans that she over-indulged a bit before and during this video. But she also told the fans her story about Kevin, starting with the only date they went on so far.
With a smile on her face, she tells her fans that they are taking it slow and easy. Amy described this as taking it “super slow” but then went on to explain why.
The 1000-Lb Sisters’ celebrity revealed that they’ve had only one date so far. And, that was a week ago, and she hasn’t seen him since.
Amy Leaves Kevin a Drunk Message?
So, it seems 1000-Lb Sisters fans felt the need to address Amy Slaton ASAP. Especially after they got a look at the caption of the video.
Amy Slaton left no guesswork for fans about her intoxicated state of mind. She captioned this video, “Drunk messages for Kevin.”
So, it became pretty clear that her actions were alcohol-fueled, and that didn’t sit right with 1000-Lb Sisters fans.
Critics came from far and wide to reprimand her, warn her, and shame Amy Slaton for her actions. And hopefully, bring her back to reality.
1000-Lb Sisters: The Look of Desperation?
Fans of this TLC show handled Amy Slaton’s video in a few different ways. Some were kind and suggested this isn’t a “healthy start” to a relationship. Others were a bit harsh, like telling Amy that this was “reeking of desperation.”
A few even empathized with the 1000-Lb Sisters’ celebrity. They also shared how they have had too much to drink at one time in their lives and talked too much. This is what they saw Amy do in this video for her new love interest, Kevin.
Amy is fresh off her last relationship with Tony Rogers, so fans call this a rebound. Ironically, Amy’s relationship with Tony was also viewed as a rebound move on Amy’s part.

So, no one knows much about Kevin, but when asked a few weeks ago when she first mentioned him, she teased she wasn’t ready yet to reveal her new guy. Not yet anyway.
But after these latest antics, who knows what will happen with Kevin? Another fan wrote that if they were Kevin and eyed this video, they would “run.”
Still, after going on one date a week ago and not seeing this guy since then, well, some fans wonder if Amy Slaton is reading this relationship all wrong. It doesn’t sound as if this guy is in any hurry to see her again. So, maybe the TLC star read more into Kevin than she should have.
