Amy Slaton revealed in January 2022 that she was pregnant again. During Season 3 of 1000-lb Sisters, Amy said she wanted to be a mom.
One of the biggest reasons why she went through weight loss surgery was to become a mom. At her heaviest weight, she understood her chances of becoming a mother were slim.
But she stayed consistent with her weight loss efforts and got pregnant with Baby Gage Halterman only a few months after she received a gastric bypass. However, her doctor wasn’t happy about this.
After she had her son Gage, Amy’s lifelong dream of becoming a mom came true. Plus, she continued to focus on her health and losing weight.
Shortly after Gage’s birth, she said she wanted to have another child. However, Dr. Charles Procter said she shouldn’t get pregnant again.
Many people began to worry about the possibility of her gaining weight again. Yet, she’s confident her weight couldn’t creep up on the scale again. She made it clear she loves being a mom.
But, Amy’s also very close with her fans. She’s shared milestones and updates on her second pregnancy with everyone. The 1000-lb Sisters star recently said she’s only two weeks away from her due date.
Big Trip For TLC Star
Even though Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters is only a few days away from delivering her second son, that hasn’t stopped her from living life to the fullest.
A fan found the TLC star at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She took pictures of her son, Gage Halterman, and husband Michael Halterman, as they stood beside Pluto.
Amy seems to be holding up great, considering the recent heat in Orlando. With temperatures around 95 degrees, the heat isn’t stopping her from smiling and having a great time.

As Amy has one last trip as a mom of one, many fans are impatient with the TLC celeb. After the 1000-lb Sisters star revealed she’s having another boy, a lot of fans wanted to know her plans.
Most people want a name reveal of baby number two, however, others want an update on how she’s feeling.
A lot of people are hopeful she’ll do a name reveal of her newborn baby after she gives birth. For now, her comments are flooded with wishes and prayers for a healthy baby and safe delivery.
