1000-Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton is Ready to Have Some Fun with Her Sons

Amy Slaton Halterman of 1000-Lb Sisters introduced her new houseguest to her followers yesterday. The reality star and her husband, Mike Halterman, are ready to have a little fun this season.

She introduces her guest as Dobby. Yes, that is right, the TLC mom of two has jumped on the Elf on the Shelf Christmas bandwagon.

The 1000-Lb Sisters star shared a photo of her new Elf and immediately began getting tons of comments from her followers offering her playful ideas for Dobby.

For those who don’t know, the premise of the Elf is to encourage good behavior from your children during the holidays.

Each night, your family’s Elf informs Santa Claus whether your children have been behaving themselves or not. The Elf comes with a set of rules for the kids to follow.

The Elf also magically moves throughout the house and often finds himself getting into some mischief as the family sleeps.

It is a fun game for the littles to wake up to each day. They feel a little magic during the holiday while searching for their Elf. They also see what kind of trouble the visitor may or may not have gotten into during the night.

 TLC Star Adds New Traditions

The 1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton Halterman also added another new Christmas tradition this year. She shares that she has enough Christmas ornaments this season.

She reveals she has been making homemade ornaments for her tree. The TLC star’s sons Gage Halterman recently turned two, and Glenn Halterman is six months.

So, Gage is getting to the age where Amy and Mike Halterman can have a lot of fun with him. Glenn is still pretty young, but by next Christmas, his big brother Gage will be able to fill him in all about Christmas and how it all works.

1000-Lb Sisters: Will Amy & Tammy Slaton Spend the Holidays Together?

TLC fans of 1000-Lb Sisters know she recently traveled to Ohio to join her sister Tammy Slaton in celebrating her marriage to Caleb Willingham.

Tammy and Caleb were married on November 19 at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, where Tammy has lived for the past year.

Questions have been raised about whether Tammy and Caleb’s marriage was legal due to some conflicting information and dates on the paperwork. Either way, Caleb and Tammy celebrated their union with about 30 friends and family members.

But will the 1000-Lb Sisters spend time together during the holidays? Neither Tammy nor Amy Slaton Halterman has mentioned whether their holiday plans will include spending time together.

However, considering that Tammy and her husband Caleb continue to reside at the rehab facility, many fans believe if they do, get together, Amy will likely have to make another trip from Kentucky to Ohio.

However, it is early in the holiday season, and things could change. For now, Amy Slaton Halterman is enjoying the time with her husband and sons.
