1000-lb Sisters has Amy Slaton, who has been thinking about moving for a long time now. She said she knew before Gage Halterman was born that the house was too small. They looked at potential houses but never acted on buying one.

But, when she was pregnant with Gage, they knew their one-bedroom half of a duplex was too small. So, what stopped them from buying a house?

Amy says that Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters is the reason they haven’t bought a house yet. She explained that once Gage was born, she would stop helping Tammy as much and focus on her baby. But that did not pan out the way she planned. She had hoped that Tammy would lose weight and become more independent. When that didn’t happen, she quit searching for a house and stayed to help her sister.

The door to the house is big enough for Tammy when she visits, and Amy says it’s perfect. She says she can look at it and imagine Gage Halterman as a teenager there. Maybe when he is 17 years old sneaking out the back door or doing whatever kids that age do.
