1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton‘s left alone seven hours after she delivered her second baby. The devastating event left her in tears.

1000-Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton Rushed to Emergency Room

On 1000-Lb Sisters, Amy Slaton said she’s unable to keep “nothing” down in an update she shared with her fans.

The TLC celeb talked about the “extreme pain” she was in while pregnant with her second baby, Glenn Halterman. Then, she said she couldn’t stand the pain because of a stabbing feeling in her lower back.

Next, she said she was about a month away from delivering her baby. This added to her fear, as she worried she would have her baby early.

Amy Slaton’s husband, Michael Halterman, said he worried about her having the baby early too. So, Michael rushed his wife to the nearest emergency room.

Thankfully, there wasn’t anything major wrong with Amy from 1000-Lb Sisters. Later, she told her fans all of the pain is from “really bad” indigestion.

TLC Star Opens Up About Motherhood Fears

As her due date crept up, Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters opened up about her fears. She said she had difficulty caring for her first son, Gage Halterman. She didn’t have the time to prepare things the way she wanted to because she was chasing after Gage.

While at a family cookout, Amy admitted she didn’t have her hospital bag packed. With her going in for her c-section the following day, the 1000-Lb Sisters celeb even admitted she didn’t have a car seat purchased yet for her second son.

This sent her into tears, as she said she felt like a bad mom. Then, she continued to say she didn’t know how to handle all the responsibilities and difficulties of managing two children.

Next, Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters talked to her husband more about her concerns while driving to the hospital in the car. She said she didn’t know how they would manage their sleep schedules. Then, she said she was going to miss sleeping.

1000-Lb Sisters: Amy Left Alone Hours After Delivery

Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters went in for her c-section. Before she went in for surgery, she talked about all of the complications that can occur during a c-section. Thankfully, everything with her delivery went smoothly.

However, things took a turn for the worst seven hours after she delivered Glenn Halterman. Her husband, Michael Halterman, was tested for COVID-19. His test results came back positive.

The hospital kicked Michael out, which left her alone to care for her newborn and recover from her c-section. She updated her fans, tears rolling down her cheeks as she expressed her fear of Glenn possibly getting exposed to COVID from Michael.

Thankfully, Glenn and Amy were discharged from the hospital the next day and able to stay with family.
