Jovi Dufren is the Cajun bar crawling star of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance. He is not ready to let go of his college partying lifestyle. Who can blame him? Living in the French Quarter of New Orleans Louisiana there is an opportunity at every corner for trouble. Jovi is no stranger to that.
While working all over the globe for an underwater robotics company, Jovi Dufren is often on the road – or under the sea – for six weeks at a time. When he is not on duty, he loves to travel and visit exotic destinations. During one of his adventures he met Yara Zaya while in Kyiv, Ukraine thru a travel dating app. The couple hit it off and the worldwide whirlwind romance began.
Long distance relationships are challenging, especially when a visit requires a passport. Jovi Dufren asked Yara to marry him and the two decided she would come to the United States. The couple dove into the K-1 Visa process just as fast as they did the relationship on 90 Day Fiance. With the big changes of having this future wife living with him, Jovi moved out of his parents home and got an apartment for his bride to be.
It took only a few weeks before Jovi Dufren has a twinkle in his eye. Yara announced she was expecting. In typical Jovi fashion, there was no plan and no worries for him. But Yara worries enough for the both of them. In a rush to make things official before Jovi had to leave for work again, the couple got married in Las Vegas, Nevada by an Elvis impersonator.
