Amy Roloff

Amy Roloff from Little People, Big World is the matriarch of the family and ex wife of Matt Roloff. She’s been central to their TLC reality show since its inception.

Born Amy Jo Knight, she has achondroplasia, but her ex has diastrophic dysplasia – both forms of dwarfism. Between them, Matt and Amy Roloff have four children, three of which are average size, and one with dwarfism.

On Little People, Big World, starting in 2006, the cameras follow the life of Amy and her then-husband and children. At the start of the series, she co-owned Roloff Farms in Helvetia, Oregon, a pumpkin farm.

First, Amy met Matt at a convention for little people in 1987. Then, he married Amy Roloff that same year. However, after more than 25 years of marriage, they officially split in 2015 and were officially divorced a year later.

Now, the Little People, Big World star is engaged to Chris Marek, a real estate agent in Oregon. Recently, she and her ex-hubby parted ways in ownership of the family pumpkin farm.

But, Amy Roloff has other business interests including a baking company. Plus, she continues to star on LBPW with her ex, her new fiance, and several other family members including their grandkids.

A new season of Little People, Big World launched in 2021. It will be Season 22. Chief among the storylines are the coronavirus epidemic, granddaughter Lilah Roloff’s eye issues, and Amy’s upcoming wedding.
