Carly Corinthos Spencer Gets a Miracle on General Hospital
Not long ago, on GH, Carly Corinthos Spencer’s dream came true — her favorite person, Jason Morgan, came home. For over two years, she thought Jason was dead and it took a toll on her.
He was the one person she turned to for everything. And he’s the only person she would do anything for except for children. So, now that he is home, her world is right again.
Even though she has her challenges, she can face them now that she has Jason again on General Hospital. However, he’s keeping a huge secret from her in order to protect her.
The reason Jason cooperated with the FBI and stayed away from home for so long was to make sure she stays out of prison. But all of his efforts could soon be for nothing.
Carly in Trouble on GH
Recently, on General Hospital, we learned that Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) is in a world of trouble. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) opened up to Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and told her everything the Feds have on Carly.
Now we know that John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) has a recording of Carly that could send her straight to Pentonville for at least 20 years. Fans will recall that when Carly’s ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), was presumed dead and living in Nixon Falls, she and Jason stepped up to run his mob business.
The organization was under siege by the other mob families on General Hospital. Jason was supposed to attend a meeting to announce that he was taking Sonny’s place. However, he was shot and Carly went in his place.
She made it clear to the five families that she was in charge. Of course, Carly wanted nothing to do with that life. But she had to take control to keep her family safe. That’s also why she married Jason — to present a united front so they wouldn’t go after her on General Hospital.
But now, it’s all coming back to bite them because Jagger has it all on tape and he’s hoping it over Jason’s head. He doesn’t want Carly to know but she is getting closer to Jagger. So, she may eventually find out. And if she does, Jason’s afraid she will do something crazy — and he’s right.
General Hospital Predictions: Ex-mob-Wife Goes Down?
Currently, on GH, Anna worries that the FBI may go back on their word and Carly could still do time once Jason helps them take down Pikeman. Indeed, Jason knows this is a possibility. But, he’s going to hold up his end of the bargain and hope they hold up theirs.
It seems that Jagger doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Carly. He just needs leverage to force Jason’s hand. It’s more likely that she is going to discover what Jason is doing to ensure her safety. She’ll feel guilty that she’s the reason Jason is an informant on General Hospital.
So, she might decide to turn herself in so Jason can get out from under Jagger’s thumb. She might go to him and confess to the RICO violations and accept her sentence. Of course, Jason would be furious and devastated.
