Mariah panics as contractions start while she’s still locked away and alone. She prayed that this exact situation would not happen. Unfortunately, she realizes her worst fears are happening. She read books about labor and delivery. However, nothing prepares her for the current situation on Young and the Restless.
Spoilers say, as the pain intensifies, Mariah hopes for a miracle. She planned to have Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and her partner, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), at her side in the delivery room as she gave birth. And the pregnant young woman envisioned Tessa’s music playing in the background. She hoped for a peaceful loving welcome for the new baby.

Unfortunately, things don’t go as she wanted and Mariah prepares to have the baby alone. Fear and pain overtake the pregnant surrogate. But, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has a lead from Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). He and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) follow that but it may come to dust. Young and the Restless spoilers promise Kevin’s hacking skills are still top-notch and he breaks through the block on Mariah Copeland’s phone locator. With that in hand, they can find her. Then, several people hasten to find her. Meanwhile, just as the redhead is ready to give up, help arrives.
Lucky for her, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby will be by her side on the CBS soap opera as Mariah Copeland gives birth. While Devon coaches her, it’ll be Abby that delivers the child that’s biologically hers and Devon’s. The timing is perfect on Young and the Restless. True, it’s not an ideal situation, but Mariah will not be alone as the baby arrives. Neither rescuer is a trained doctor, but they do their best.

Young and the Restless news hints Mariah has little time to celebrate her rescuers’ arrival. Since she is in active labor, there is no time to get her to a hospital. So, she will give birth in the small room that has been her home for weeks. This new development means she’ll return home soon. But she’s still not seen her captor.
Young and the Restless Scoops: Kidnapper Still At Large?
It seems that the culprit isn’t revealed to the other characters right away on Y&R. There is much speculation regarding who is behind Mariah’s disappearance. Despite her pleading, the kidnapper didn’t respond to her cries to the camera. Was that because they were elsewhere playing innocent on Young and the Restless?
If it’s Stitch, then he was with Abby and the others when Mariah Copeland went into labor. But why would he give them the hint about the protein bar guy? Some Young and the Restless fans wonder if it’s Chance Chancellor’s mom, since she’s out of town now. There’s also the chance it could be Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) punishing Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
In a recent online chat with fans, Camryn Grimes said the kidnapper’s revealed soon, but that might be only to the audience. Let’s hope that’s true. Already many viewers think the Y&R plot’s dragged on too long. If they don’t give fans at least a little info, there’s bound to be some outrage. Watch as Mariah Copeland is found and gives birth in just a few days on the CBS daytime drama.
