Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott & Lily Winters Drag Out the Break-up
For a long time now on Y&R, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have had serious problems. And they seem to get worse by the day. When they had work in common, that at least gave them shared goals and interactions.
But as usual, on The Young and the Restless, Billy can’t stay focused on anything for too long. He’s always been a bad boy making bad choices that let down his friends, family, and loves ones. Still, Lily’s been extremely patient with him.
His past is a series of burned bridges as he cheated, ran amok, and ruined relationships. Despite all the warnings, she stuck by his side. But now, it seems her patience with Billy Abbott finally ran out.
On Young and Restless, you may recall that when she needed him most at Chancellor-Winters, he lost interest and walked out of his support role at the corporation. Then, he fixated on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Y&R Spoilers: One Last Try for Lily and Her Guy
Last week on Young and the Restless, we saw Lily Winters telling her boyfriend she can’t deal with him anymore. They might have split for good right then if not for Chelsea. When Billy came to see her, Chelsea advised him not to give up on his girlfriend.
If not for Chelsea’s counsel, he might have thrown in the towel right then. Instead, Billy-Boy called Lily to ask for one more chance and to get into therapy ASAP. But in the offscreen couples therapy session, they can see things aren’t fixable between them.
In the recently released promo, it looks like Billy and Lily might hold it together. But in the weekly Y&R promo, we see Billy Abbott back at Chelsea Lawson’s place and telling her that “it’s over.” So, it sure looks like this couple finally calls it quits.

That could thrill many Young and the Restless fans who want her free of him. But does that mean he’ll run right to someone new — Chelsea Lawson specifically?

Billy Turns to Chelsea Lawson — Two Romances Rise from the Ashes on The Young and the Restless?
Next week is a rough one for Lily Winters. She and Billy are done, and then there’s more trouble at C-W. After she hears from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is a spy, she fires her. Next, she’s got to worry about the IPO and its risks.
But Lily gets comfort from her ex, Daniel, who seems to be waiting in the wings for another shot with her on Young and the Restless. Until recently, Lily stuck by her man. But if they’re split, she could rekindle with Daniel soon. And Chelsea’s in the wings too.
Meanwhile, Young and Restless spoilers confirm Billy Abbott turns to Chelsea and tells her that he and Lily are done. While Chelsea might encourage him again to give his relationship another shot, it looks like he will not budge.
But does this mean Billy makes a play to rekindle with his baby mama Chelsea Lawson? With her fresh off a breakdown and suicide attempt, it seems like a bad idea, but that might not stop him. What could stop him, though, is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
