Why ‘Sister Wives’ is Not on Tonight – ‘One on One’ Part 3 Date
Why isn’t Sister Wives on tonight? Kody Brown and his wives still have a part three of the One-on-One special. But it’s not airing tonight, January 13, 2022. So, what’s up with that?
The TLC TV schedule looks a lot like other networks for this Sunday night. It’s Super Bowl Sunday.
It looks as if Sister Wives won’t go up against one of the most-watched sports events on TV.
Sister Wives: One on One Part 3 Not on Tonight?
If you checked the schedule for the TLC Sunday night lineup you were most likely surprised. You might even find yourself disappointed as well.
That’s because if you were looking for Sister Wives: One on One Part 3 in your TV’s menu for tonight — it’s not there. But if a network wants to get the highest rating possible this is not the night to air a special.
The last thing they want to do is go up against Super Bowl. With all eyes on that big football event tonight, that leaves a smaller audience for the TLC series. That’s not good for ratings.
Pre-Empted Misery for Die-Hard Fans?
Sister Wives is not on tonight and this isn’t ideal for many fans. Although some might find a break from the Brown family misery a welcomed event.
So, TLC released a video Sunday afternoon with a promise to the Sister Wives audience. Yes, they skipped a week for the final Part 3. But, they promise that what you’ll see next week is worth the wait.

It looks as if the host, Sukanya Krishnan, taps into the thoughts of all five spouses. They express how they’re feeling over Christine Brown’s exit from their husband Kody Brown. Christine herself “sets the story straight,” Sukanya says.
Sister Wives: The Wait is Worth It
So, what do we know about One on One Part 3 so far? Kody Brown gets a rude awakening. It seems as if he watches a clip of Christine discussing the pain she’s in. It also sounds as if he hears his third wife detail the reason she’s leaving her marriage.
Kody responds, “I never seen her side of this.” So, does this Sister Wives’ husband have his tail between his legs after this revelation? Janelle Brown, who is close to Christine claims that Christine needed to make a choice.
Once she realized she was never going to have a functioning marriage, she made this choice. Robyn Brown is “devastated at Christine’s choice” and Meri can’t “wrap her head around it.”
Then there’s Kody who admits he didn’t hear the side of the story he hears during this episode. So, is that shame on him for not taking the time to do so? Well, viewers need to wait another week to find out these answers.
