WCTH: Elizabeth Helps With Pre-Wedding Rituals
Elizabeth Thornton, young schoolmistress on When Calls The Heart, is one of the few women allowed to assist Florence Blakeley (Loretta Walsh) with her hair for the wedding. The spoiler shows the rest of the women outside the barbershop, all talking over each other as they try to decide which hairstyle Florence should wear.
The women have the door shut in their faces, and Molly Sullivan (Johannah Newmarch) exclaims, “I’m her best friend!” But once the door is closed, Elizabeth is the only one left inside as they discuss Florence’s hair for her wedding on When Calls The Heart. Florence dithers about the fuss she’s making over the details.
But Elizabeth Thornton assures her it’s the bride’s prerogative on When Calls The Heart. Florence just wants to show Ned how he makes her feel. She says this to Elizabeth with a smile as her friend smiles back at her.
When Calls The Heart: Clues to the Love Triangle?
Fervent fans of When Calls The Heart have been searching feverishly for clues all season as to which man Elizabeth Thornton will eventually choose. As she speaks with Katie about risk, the teaser shows Elizabeth and local Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) giving longing looks to each other.
Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) is shown watching them from afar. But later, the WCTH spoiler indicates Elizabeth Thornton will attend the wedding seated next to Lucas. Fans are trying to interpret the signs they were promised at the start of Season 8 of Hallmarks’ When Calls The Heart. Some think attending the wedding with Lucas may be an indicator of Elizabeth’s intentions. Team Nathan won’t be happy if that’s the end result.
