Welcome to Plathville married couple Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath recently decided to get matching tattoos. The pair wanted to find a way to connect and have something permanent that represented their love for each other. And Olivia Plath thought this would be a fun thing to do.

Welcome to Plathville: Marriage Struggles for Olivia & Ethan Plath

During the first season of Welcome to Plathville, Ethan Plath had just recently gotten married to Olivia. And the duo seemed to have a lot of issues with Ethan’s parents. Kim and Barry Plath raised their kids in a very sheltered environment. So they felt that Olivia Plath exposed Ethan and his younger siblings to too many new things. Because of that, they didn’t really want her around. Kim Plath told Olivia that she was a bad influence on the Plath kids.

And Olivia Plath didn’t think that Ethan defended her or took her side. So their marriage started to crumble. Then, Ethan Plath realized how important Olivia was to him. And by the time the second season aired, the Welcome to Plathville oldest son had cut ties with his parents. Ethan Plath and Olivia started counseling and planned to move further away from his family. So that they would be able to concentrate on their marriage and making it work. Now the couple seems to be doing very well.

Welcome to Plathville: Olivia Plath Gets a Navel Piercing

In a recent episode of the popular reality show, Welcome to Plathville, Olivia Plath got a navel piercing. Fans watched as Ethan Plath made it clear that he didn’t approve. Ethan even tried to talk Olivia Plath out of it beforehand. Ethan said that putting holes through your body just didn’t make sense to him. And he worried that the navel piercing might affect their sex life. Olivia explained to him that they just needed to be careful around that area for a couple weeks. And that it was her body and her decision to make.

Ethan Plath conceded the point and told her she was right. So, he went with Olivia to get the navel ring to show his support. And Olivia Plath appreciated the effort he made. But, it was obvious at the shop that Ethan was uncomfortable. He couldn’t even watch as Olivia got pierced. Ethan said that his Welcome to Plathville upbringing didn’t prepare him for something like this. And Olivia just teased him. The two laughed together about the whole experience.

Will Ethan Go through with It?

While the Welcome to Plathville couple was at the shop, Ethan Plath took the time to look at all the tattoo art on the walls. While Ethan thought that a lot of it looked strange, he admitted that he liked some of the pieces. And Ethan and wife Olivia Plath talked about the possibility of getting tattoos themselves. The pair decided that they wanted to get matching tattoos on their wrists. They wanted something that would connect them to each other permanently. And they scheduled the appointment.

But, once at the shop, Ethan Plath started to have some doubts. He told his Welcome to Plathville wife that he was having second thoughts. And that when you were doing something permanent, you should put a lot of thought into it. Especially if you’re not one hundred percent sure you wanted to do it. But, Olivia Plath told him that they had put a lot of thought into it and decided to do it. And that last minute cold feet shouldn’t be enough to change that decision. Will Ethan Plath give into Olivia’s wishes and get a tattoo? Or will he decide it’s just not for him?
