‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Brown Accused of Babying Her Kids by Co-Wives

Sister Wives celeb Robyn Brown didn’t agree with her co-wives when they suggested her mothering style starts with babying her kids. When Robyn joined the Sister Wives clan as wife number four, the three wives were already together for about 16 years raising kids.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown To The Kids’ Rescue?

While the original three Sister Wives moms all had their different styles of parenting, Robyn’s style didn’t seem to fit in. After more than a decade and a half together parenting a dozen kids, the first three wives had a style that worked for them.

But Robyn complained about that style. She claims her Sister Wives co-wives wouldn’t interview when the kids were arguing. The other moms believed the kids should work it out between them. Unless there was blood, the kids were prompted to work it out themselves.

This wasn’t Robyn Brown’s style, which she penned in a book a while back with her Sister Wives’ spouses. She believes in sitting the kids down and getting to the root of it. Then to top that off, help the kids work it out by mediating the discussion.’

Mama Robyn Brown Won’t Always Be There

At the time Robyn Brown revealed this, the Sister Wives fans were quick to comment. Many asked how Robyn Brown expected her kids to grow up without learning these skills on their own. People reminded the newest wife of Kody Brown that mama won’t always be there to do that.

If a fight breaks out at school, without Robyn around, what would happen? Some Sister Wives fans suggest this mom needed to let the kids practice problem-solving. That goes without any intervention from parents. Of course, unless there is blood.

It’s not that Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown didn’t have their differences as well. But over time they seemed to click when it came to certain things regarding the Sister Wives kids. But for Robyn Brown it was different.

Sister Wives: Different Strokes For Different Wives

A description of how each wife might handle a certain scenario seems to demonstrate the differences between the four moms. One of the problems the adults had with the first round of Brown teenage girls – revealing clothes.

Exposing cleavage is a no-no but all four women had a different approach for addressing the teen with the low-cut shirt. Starting with Meri, she just would just forbid one of the Sister Wives kids to buy it in the first place.

Janelle would probably not notice unless the shirt revealed a lot of skin. Then she would direct them to change the shirt.

Christine’s style is to tell them to change the shirt and when they won’t she’d pull it up so less was showing. Then there’s Robyn who would most likely offer a purity speech while asking them to lose the shirt.

So, it seems Robyn Brown’s parenting style includes babying her kids, according to what she claims her co-wives from the Sister Wives family believe. While Robyn sees her parenting strategy as one of sharing the kids’ emotions. She believes her kids are more emotional because she promotes getting to the root of feelings.
