‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Wipes Egg Off Her Face to Make a Fluffy Life Souffle

Sister Wives star Meri Brown has people talking today as she looks like an expert in wringing every last drop out of her TLC fame. The reality series threw her a curveball last season.

She learned on national television that she is no longer a wife in her husband’s eyes. Next, it took only seconds for fans of the show to jump on social media to say how awful this was for this first wife.

Yet, today it looks like Meri is making up for any lost time by going for all the gusto that fame has to offer.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown Rose Above Embarrassment

Think about what Meri Brown endured, but maybe the question is why she endured this.  It’s possible her latest post holds the clues to that question.

The Sister Wives cast taped the One-on-One interviews way ahead of time. But the family members don’t get to watch the episodes before they hit the screen.

So, it seems she really did hear what Kody had to say without any warning that it was coming. Fans suggested that she looked mortified. But she held her composure fairly well if you consider what the host of the show told her.

But a dismayed look no longer shows up today. Instead, her facial expressions look as if her fun side shows through, like her expressions seen below.

Sister Wives: Meri Brown

Last season held embarrassing comments for Meri Brown, as well as her two original Sister Wives co-wives. Their shared husband washed his hands of Meri, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown.

Sure, Christine left, but only after her husband told her no to intimacy, again on national television. But today Meri has no egg on her face. Instead, she’s made a souffle out of life. Or maybe a big fluffy omelet.

Meri All Business Today…

The latest blurb from Meri Brown on social media seems to sum up what she’s got going for her. The way she lists her recent accomplishments seems telling. Meri shares that she’s “Building businesses. Building friendships. Building a great life.”

So, just maybe the insults she endured on Sister Wives have something to do with building businesses. The way she was treated by Kody Brown was awful, according to many of the fans’ comments.

But it does capture the curiosity of the viewers, who keep coming back every week. So, is this something she allowed to happen to keep the Sister Wives show filled with drama? After all, it is that drama that brings back the fans.

Plus, she put together a retreat at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn this month. She is the sole owner of this B&B business.  The cost for this retreat ranges from $4K to $ 6K for a four-day stay. But the last time she held one of these, it seemed to fall short of takers.

Now with all this drama in her Sister Wives life, Meri Brown has gained a lot of attention. So, surprisingly most of the spaces for this retreat sold out, with only a few left.  So, maybe the treatment she endured also played a part in people coming to this retreat.

She made it clear that this time that she will be at the retreat as well. The high-end price includes extra time with Meri. So, it’s not surprising this was one of the first packages to sell out.

Sister Wives: Meri Will Do ‘Whatever the Hell’ She Wants To

In the video clip that Meri dropped this week, she says that she’s going to do “whatever the hell I want to.”  So, it looks as if she’s moved on from Kody Brown and found her own niche in life.

She never mentions Kody in her latest post. But fans see her coming out just fine as she navigates the wake of his public dismissal. Fans witnessed Kody dismiss her as a wife on that hard-to-watch Sister Wives episode.

Right after that she very graciously asked her fans to not congratulate her on her split from Kody. Some did anyway but many got the message that it’s painful to her. But today it looks like she’s put that behind her.

So, building her businesses, along with friendships, seems to work out for Meri Brown. She seems to see herself on the way to building a great life.

A while back Meri said that the TLC contracts keep her from saying too much. But one day she’ll tell her story.

Chances are you will hear that the later Sister Wives seasons were more scripted rather than letting things unfold naturally on the TLC series. Fans may then find out this is why she went along for the ride, even if she took an uncomfortable backseat.
