Bernie McGee, the 41-year-old Seeking Sister Wife celeb, passed away on Saturday, June 15 after suffering a heat stroke and heart attack. Bernie McGee was rushed to St Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS but was not able to make it.
Bernie’s family and close friends said their final goodbyes during the funeral services held Tuesday, June 18. Family and loved ones saw him buried at Crossroads Cemetery in Pelahatchie, Mississippi.
Bernie left behind his wife, Paige; sons, David McGee, Nathan Muirhead, Scott McGee, John McGee, and Kyle McGee. He also left behind mother Brenda McGee and sister Angie Williams. There’s also his niece Nesya Williams. Only his two youngest sons were shown on TLC’s Seeking Sister Wife. He also shared Paige McGee’s two sons she had before they met.
Paige McGee Confirms GoFundMe For Bernie’s Memorial Fund
Meanwhile, a family member launched a GoFundMe campaign for Bernie McGee’s memorial fund. According to reports, the wife of Paige McGee’s first cousin, Ginny Marble, started the fundraiser earlier this week. Apparently, the campaign aims to help the Seeking Sister Wife star with the funeral cost and other expenses for the family.
The GFM page noted that Bernie McGee was the sole provider of the family. Now that he’s gone, Paige must shoulder financial responsibilities. Many were quick to express their sympathy for Paige and donated money. As of this writing, the campaign already gathered over $2,300 of the $10,000 goal.
