The Dog Bill was a project but it’s not over yet for Lisa Vanderpump
The fight to stop people from eating cats and dogs is far from over. Currently, places like China do eat them but the USA is in a much stronger position now, to influence them. As ClickOnDetroit noted, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s efforts mean more can be done by the government. They cited the Humane Society as saying, “The House has passed the Cat and Dog Meat Trade Prohibition Act (H.R. 6720) to keep this brutal industry from taking hold in the U.S. & strengthen our hand to press other countries to ban it.”
Followers of Lisa Vanderpump commended her for her stand on the brutal practice. One even suggested Lisa should run for office. “Congratulations–glad I was there in the audience all those many months ago when you 1st took it to Congress. You all got it done. Now would you please become a citizen & run for office? We need honorable people like you–congrats again–celebrate!!!”
