My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Whitney Thore celebrated her birthday in quarantine. The virus pandemic has people celebrating birthdays and holidays without friends and family. Whitney’s special day didn’t feel so special. But, her fiance Chase Severino wouldn’t let her birthday go un-celebrated. So, the two will meet up face to face through a video call.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Spends Birthday in Quarantine
Whitney Thore had her 36th birthday self-isolating from her friends and family. Since the world is dealing with a virus outbreak. Although, Whitney is in lockdown with her mother, Babs Thore. The only activities she did for her special day included making breakfast, feeding her cats and going for a walk in an empty dog park. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life celeb hasn’t even washed her hair in two weeks.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star has been stressed out for the past week. Whitney Thore said that the “combination of a global pandemic, and the gross side effects of prednisone” has taken a toll on her. She has been taking medication to help with her grass allergy. This allergy is also causing painful skin irritation. Making it harder for her to do things.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life TLC Celeb Feels Lonely without Friends and Family
Even though she has Babs Thore by her side, Whitney Thore still felt lonely. She said that “loneliness is magnified on your birthday.” She isn’t able to do what she wants for her birthday. If Whitney had her way she “would want nothing more than to be holed up in a mountain cabin” with her friends. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life alum would also want to be able to hug her father and her brother.
Yet, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life alum was still grateful to be able to turn another year older. Whitney Thore said that “a lonely birthday still signifies another year that I’ve been on this earth able to experience life.” She said that “it’s a day I can reflect on what I truly miss, which is being in the company of people I love so much.”
Chase Severino Celebrates Whitney’s Birthday through Video Chat
Chase Severino wasn’t able to be with Whitney Thore on her birthday. But, he didn’t let it go without celebration. He shared pictures of the couple online wishing Whitney a happy birthday. He said, “celebrating your birthday for the second year (only this time through quarantine).” Chase would rather be in that “beautiful cabin again this year” with his fiance.
Despite living in a different city the My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member will still be celebrating his fiance’s birthday. Chase Severino said that he “can’t wait for things to get back to normal.” But, Chase said that he would see Whitney Thore later. Just not in person. Instead, the two will have their birthday celebrations through a video call.
