My Big Fat Fabulous Life returns for season 7 next month and finds its star Whitney Thore dealing with the declining health of her parents Glen Thore and Barbara “Babs” Thore. Whitney’s folks are huge favorites with the loyal MBFFL fan base.
Many admire how close a relationship Whitney has with her lovable parents on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Plus, there’s no mistaking they are relationship role models for Whitney, her friends and fans alike. However, this season we learn Whitney has her hands full now that her aging parent’s health issues require more of her time.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Takes Care Of Her Parents
It’s been over a year since the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star’s mother Barbara “Babs” Thore suffered her stroke. Whitney Thore has been a devoted daughter and active part of Babs recovery process. Plus she’s a huge help to her dad, Glenn Thore. Whitney attends all her mom’s doctor appointments so both her parents understand exactly what information the doctors are giving them.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans recall that Glenn’s hearing is an issue for the family. He wears hearing aids in both ears. So, without them, he is unable to hear what’s being said in conversations. Additionally, it’s a huge help that a third set of eyes and ears is present to assure both Babs and Glenn, Whitney Thore’s parents, fully comprehend all they need to from their doctor appointments.
MBFFL: Whitney Lashes Out At Her Brother Hunter Thore
My Big Fat Fabulous Life celeb Whitney Thore snaps at her brother Hunter Thore in a tense scene in the trailer video for the new season (see below). Additionally, She informs her younger brother that “very real thing are happening with their parents”. She goes on to tell him that they are going to have to face it soon. Afterall Babs and Glenn are well into their 70s. So, Whitney needs her baby brother to start stepping up his game with regards to their parent’s care.
What sparked the argument for the My Big Fat Fabulous Life family was Whitney finding out that her father passed out near dead. Also, another incident had her mom falling down the stars requiring a hospital stay. This was after her blood sugar dropped. Hopefully, Hunter takes Whitney seriously with this family matter.
TLC Star Moves Further Away From Parents Glenn & Babs

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star will now be 90 minutes away from her parents Babs and Glenn Thore. If they continue to have medical emergencies it could be a problem. So it’s even more important for her little brother Hunter to start taking a more active role in their parent’s health care.
