‘MasterChef: Legends’ Premiere Date on FOX with Gordon Ramsay
MasterChef: Legends returns for its eleventh season with Gordon Ramsay as host and the premiere date has been announced. The Fox TV series is breaking new ground, and will be a lot different. The new season promises to be one of the most exciting in the series history.
When the name Legends was first announced as the sub-title for MasterChef, most fans expected to see past winners competing against each other. While that would be amazing, Legends refers to guest judges that will come in to help pick winners. The special judge lineup will include people like Sherry Yard. She is a very accomplished chef, restaurant owner and cookbook author.
MasterChef: Legends Premiere Date – Set to Return June 2nd on Fox
June 2nd at 8 pm EST is the return date for MasterChef: Legends. The names of the contestants have not yet been released. However, the guest chefs are all lined up. It includes some of the biggest names in the culinary world.
Emeril Lagasse, Paula Deen, Roy Choi, Nancy Silverton, Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina, Curtis Stone,and Morimoto will all appear on MasterChef: Legends to provide food demonstrations for the contestants. Then they will then try to uses what they have learned in their own food creations.
Season 11 initially began filming last year. However, in March of 2020, production was halted. The cause – the pandemic. The San Fernando Valley kitchen set is quite busy as filming resumes.
Big Stakes at Risk For Fox Contestants
Fifteen contestants will vie for the title of MasterChef: Legends. The winner will also enjoy a $250,000 cash prize. Along with a brand new Viking kitchen to fill with OSO kitchen tools and bakeware. Gordon Ramsay has missed the show. He reports that he tries to keep it exciting and new for viewers.
Gordon knows they will vote with their remotes if he doesn’t provide the entertainment they are looking for. Joined by returning judges Aaron Sanchez and Joe Bastainich, Gordon is ready for the action to begin. But both have appeared on previous seasons of MasterChef. So they are also successful restaurant owners in their own right.
Who is the Cast of MasterChef: Legends?
While the full names of the contestants have not yet been named, we do know a few of the contestants by first names, Suu, Lexy, Michael, Elyce, Matt Jose, Alejando, Anne and Kelsey.
The main judges for the Fox show will be Gordon Ramsay (of course), Aaron Sanchez, and Joe Bastainich.
MasterChef: Legends – Get to Know the Judges
Gordon Ramsay is the creator of MasterChef and has been a judge for all eleven seasons of the shown. He has appeared on numerous cooking shows. Gordon is well known as the harsh critic on Hell’s Kitchen. Awarded 16 Michelin stars, his restaurants are famous for their outstanding food.
Recognized as a judge on Chopped, Aaron Sanchez also appears for the eleventh season of MasterChef: Legends. Aaron has authored two cookbooks and recently released his memoir. Last but not least, Joe Bastaintish rounds out the trio. While Joe is not a chef, he is a restaurateur who owns many restaurants around the world.
Tune into FOX beginning June 2 at 8 pm EST to watch the premiere of the new season of MasterChef Legends. Things promise to get very hot in the kitchen as each contestant hopes to walk away with the $250,000 prize.
