Married at First Sight: Jona Bienko All In – Brandin Afraid of Life Away From Honeymoon Island
On Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island, Jona Bienko and Brandin Brosh hit a rough patch so close to the finish line. With only one week left in St. Lucia, it’s crunch time for the couples. Will fear and insecurity get in the way of something great?
Tough topics for Brandin Brosh on MAFS: Honeymoon Island
On MAFS: Honeymoon Island, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Jessica Griffin want to get the couples out of their comfort zone. The couples go zip-lining in an attempt to face their fears and grow closer. When it comes to Jona and Brandin, Jona Bienko is definitely the more open of the two. He’s comfortable expressing his feelings, while Brandin Brosh is guarded. The couples explore spirituality but religion and politics are off the table for Brandin on Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island.
When Jona Bienko tries to dig deeper, it rubs Brandin the wrong way and she walks off. It’s clear that Brandin is still holding something back by this point in the episode. That said, when you consider that Brandin didn’t even want to hold Jona’s hand at the beginning of all this, she’s come a long way. Still, this needs to be addressed on Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island.

Jona Bienko all in on Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island
On Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island, Jona Bienko plays for all the marbles. While talking with Eric Acosta and Chris Perry in the pool, he invites them to his future wedding to Brandin Brosh. That’s how serious Jona is about this girl. He sees himself married to her, and there’s a sense that she feels the same way about him even though it looks like she needs more time.
Sitting down with Pastor Calvin Roberson, Brandin and Jona finally make some real progress. Brandin admits to Pastor Cal that she’s not as outspoken when it comes to voicing her feelings. After Pastor Cal gets the couple to open up on Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island, Jona Bienko makes clear that he’s there for marriage and that he wants a family. Something about the way he says this breaks something loose in Brandin. She realizes that everything she wants is right in front of her. She also confronts her biggest fear – that things won’t translate away from Honeymoon Island.

Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island cliffhanger
The couples participate in a symbolic activity on Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island. Jona and Brandin each write a quality about themselves that they’d like to get rid of on a piece of paper and reveal it to their peers. At the end of the activity, they place the piece of paper in a fire pit and begin anew. The episode ends with a cliffhanger. The preview for next week’s episode indicates that parents arrive in St. Lucia to see their children and meet their potential spouses.
