Jamie Otis talked about the hardships she and husband Doug Hehner endured during her failed pregnancies. The Married at First Sight celeb said she always thought she’ll get pregnant easily. So when her first baby boy Jonathan didn’t make it, it was a major shock.
Despite the pain of losing baby Jonathan, Jamie and Doug did not give up. The couple finally conceived their first rainbow baby, Henley Grace. All seems well for Doug and Jamie, not until they decided to expand their family again.
By the time the Married at First Sight stars began trying for their second child, a devastating incident left them in tears yet again. Jamie revealed she suffered two more miscarriages, leaving her and Doug broken-hearted. Apparently, the first one turned out to be a “chemical pregnancy,” while the second one came with no heartbeat.

The back to back miscarriages “crushed” both Jamie Otis and spouse Doug Hehner, but it didn’t stop them from trying again. Conceiving became even more challenging for the Married at First Sight couple, so much so that they almost “threw in the towel”.
But the eager parents refused to give up. They seek the help of a fertility specialist and got pregnant again shortly after. This time, Jamie Otis said she diligently followed her doctor’s advice. She added that she “held [her] breath” during the whole pregnancy, hoping that the baby will be safe. Nine months later, Jamie and her hubby Doug welcomed their second born, Hendrix.
