‘Married at First Sight’: Chris Williams seen as Season 12 Villain by Cast & Fans?

Married at First Sight’s Chris Williams is perceived by some fans and cast as the villain of Season 12. Chris is money-driven and has high expectations of his new wife. But does he take his expectations too far?

Chris’ Expectations of Married at First Sight  Bride Paige Banks

Chris Williams of Married at First Sight said he wants a wife who is not after him for his money. Chris’s bride should be intelligent and submissive. Sexy, good in bed, and a freak are other requirements he will expect from  Paige. Fans of MAFS indicate they think the new groom is egotistical and shallow.

Paige Banks, Lifetime’s match for Chris, has her own home and career. Whether she meets Chris Williams’ other requirements remains to be seen. Fans see Paige as gorgeous and too good for Chris. Married at First Sight fans see Paige as down to earth while Chris is focused on more shallow details.

The Married at First Sight husband told viewers that a wife who did not meet his expectations would make a very sad Chris with blue b*lls. He wants his future children with Paige Banks to be an extension of his “brand” and build an empire for generations to come. With Chris Williams having such high expectations, is it any wonder he turned to matchmakers for help meeting Paige?

The Cast of MAFS Side Against Chris Williams

While Chris struts around bragging about his money and boosting his ego, other MAFS cast members notice his attitude. The guys were taken aback when Chris Williams showed up to their mutual bachelor party with not only his cousin in tow but also a blow-up doll. The other bachelors wondered if he was ready for a serious relationship

Previews for next weeks’ Married at First Sight indicate the cast confronts Chris about the baby he expects and tells him to man up. He thinks it’s none of their business how he and new bride Paige Banks intend to deal with the situation. Chris blows up at them, telling them to mind their own business. Erik Lake tells Chris Williams he’s out of line, and Vincent steps in to keep things from getting physical.

Paige appears flabbergasted at her new husband’s actions and doesn’t know her course of action. MAFS Atlanta cast reactions to Chris are that he is horrible and has a bad attitude. This volatile situation looks to be ready to blow up in Paige Banks and her husband’ face. Fans will have to wait and see whether sparks continue to fly with this Married at First Sight couple.

Paige Banks Meets Her In-Laws

Once the I Do’s are spoken, and the couple has a few minutes together, it’s time to meet the family. Chris asks some very invasive questions about her sexual drive and contraceptives. Paige seems a little shocked at a few of his questions. His focus on sexual matters rather than personal questions about her reasons for doing Married at First Sight makes fans believe he is immature and not ready for a serious relationship.

Chris Williams’ father has some marriage advice for new daughter-in-law Paige Banks which did not go over well with fans of the show. Part of the advice included how often his son needs intimacy from Paige. Dad also mentioned his hopes for a honeymoon baby during his post-wedding toast. After hearing her new husbands questions and then Dad’s advice, fans of MAFS rushed to Paige’s defense.

Meanwhile, Chris speaks with Paige’s bridesmaids, and quite a few eyebrows are raised during their conversation. He says Paige is not a trophy wife, but her friends quickly defend her status. The bridesmaids of Lifetime’s Married at First Sight Season 12 take a step back when Chris says Paige isn’t the woman he wants, but she’s the woman he needs.

They question his commitment when they find out about his recent engagement to another woman. This couple certainly has some hurdles to overcome if they are to become a successful power couple.
