Married at First Sight: Bobby Dodd Confronts Danielle About Her Spending on Happily Ever After

Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After’s Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman had big things happen this week. They finally find out the sex of their baby. There are a few bumps in the road as Bobby confronts Danielle about her spending ahead of buying a new home.

It’s a girl for Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman on MAFS: Happily Ever After

Bobby has been saying for a very long time that he knew he would have a boy. Even though Bobby wants a boy to carry on the family name, he and Danielle will welcome a baby girl. Bobby is genuinely shocked when he and his wife find out the news on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After. Fans found out the gender of their baby over a month ago. It’s interesting to see the event play out on the show.

Danielle is pleased with the news on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After. In her mind, she knew it would be a girl. In that sense, she’s not as taken aback as Bobby is. She goes out and buys baby clothes as Bobby warms up to the idea of having to dress a girl instead of a boy. He jokes about naming her Bobbie, but that will likely remain a joke. After the tension from last week, it’s nice to see the couple enjoy a happy moment.

Over-the-top spending on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After

Bobby Dodd is the more practical one when it comes to budgeting. The pair are already on a tight budget as it is. When you factor in Danielle wanting to buy a new home, that’s going to require some financial shuffling. Bobby confronts Danielle about some of her frivolous spending. He points out a few things that they’re going to have to cut back on. Danielle isn’t pleased. Even though Danielle may not like to cut back, it’ll definitely help in the long run with a new baby on the way on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After.

Danielle switches gears on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After and starts sorting through the things they want to keep prior to moving. Bobby joins her, but quickly realizes that Danielle takes this opportunity to get rid of mostly his stuff. He asks her why most of the stuff that she wants to get rid of is his, but she doesn’t have a clear answer. She comes up with a lot of surface answers like the leather from the couch sticking to her legs. Bobby goes with Danielle’s decisions without much of a fight – as he’s known to do on MAFS.

Bobby Dodd needs to assert himself more

While Bobby does take a few steps forward this week in terms of bringing up Danielle’s spending habits, he needs to do more. As Pastor Calvin Roberson warns, he needs to push back and not let Danielle run the entire show. It’s great that he supports his wife, but he needs to be mindful of maintaining a balance. Now that he’s put his foot down and addressed their financial situation, it will be interesting to see if he follows through in the coming weeks on Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After.
