After calling it quits on Decision Day on Married at First Sight, many viewers wanted to know what Amber would do next. And, more importantly, when she would put herself back out there after her disastrous marriage to Matt Gwynne. Many viewers feel she got the short end of the stick with her match on the Lifetime show. And, she has a lot of fan support because of it.
Since her time on Married at First Sight with Matt Gwynne, Amber Bowles moved on with a new man. And, MAFS viewers want to know more about him. Amber didn’t let his name slip. But, she said she spent his birthday with him in Colorado. And, she added that they met at at a Charlotte Hornets basketball game after meeting on dating app, Hinge.
Hinge markets itself as a dating app “designed to be deleted”. Unlike a lot of hook-up apps like Tinder, Hinge is more relationship-oriented. Due to this, it appeals to people looking for connection and long-lasting relationships. And, from the look of it, Amber Bowles found a good match with her new boyfriend.

Matthew Gwynne and his wife called it quits on Decision Day on Married at First Sight. And, even though they’re no longer together, many viewers want to know where things stand for the pair. Turns out the duo are still legally married. And, that’s largely due to Matt not signing the divorce papers.

In addition, Amber said she’s not a confrontational person by nature. And, dealing with her husband’s antics forced her to stand up for herself while filming. The Married at First Sight celeb said she’s happy she did. And, she seems stronger for it.
Married at First Sight: What’s Next for Amber?
Even though Matt Gwynne refuses to sign the divorce papers, Amber Bowles has another trick up her sleeve to move on from him for good. She plans to pursue an absolute divorce. An absolute divorce permanently ends a marriage. And, it can get around sticking points like Matt refusing to sign his copies of the divorce papers.
Meanwhile, with the COVID-19 pandemic going on, Amber wants to throw a divorce party sometime in July. So, if everything goes according to plan, she won’t be legally married by then.
In the meantime, Amber Bowles seems happy with her new man. And, in turn, most Married at First Sight fans are happy for her. She said the support from fans is “amazing”. And, that it makes her heart “so happy”. On top of that, she talked up her boyfriend even more. Amber said he is the “sweetest, most patient guy”. And, that’s definitely a far cry from her Lifetime husband.
