‘Mama June: From Not to Hot’ – June Shannon and Alana Back for Season 5
Mama June: From Not to Hot fans are sure to be ecstatic because it looks like June Shannon and her daughter Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo) are set to return for a fifth season. So, that should mean June will play a bigger role when the WEtv show returns.
Mama June: From Not to Hot – June Shannon and Alana Thompson Back for Season 5
Recently, good news broke out for Mama June: From Not to Hot followers. Turns out, June Shannon and her child Alana Thompson will be back for an all-new season. This past year, Mama was not seen much because she was estranged from her family due to her drug addiction.
However, there is more story to tell because June Shannon and the gang are back. And, as long as things go according to plan, Mama June: From Not to Hot should return sometime in March of 2021. So far, there’s a good chance the entire crew will be back on the canvas.
Most of Mama June’s Family Should Return
When Mama June: From Not to Hot picks back up it looks like all of the family will appear. No doubt, after the past season, Mama has a lot of work to do to earn her family’s trust back. So, it seems likely everyone will come back to share the story of how they can repair their relationships with her. Clearly, Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon will have a lot to say to her little sister.
As will Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and her husband Josh Efird. Plus, there is still tension between Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson Jennifer Lamb Thompson. Hopefully, all of them will part of the next chapter. Although, it’s still unclear if Mama June’s boyfriend Geno Doak will appear on the next season.
What Will the Next Season Be About?
At this point, it’s still a mystery as to what is in store for fans once Mama June: From Not to Hot is back with fresh episodes. However, it’s likely that the next step of the series will be to focus on redemption. Of course, a lot needs to change to repair the damage done to her relationships with her family members. Most importantly, she needs to mend fences with her daughters – all of them.
So, maybe her other two girls Jessica Shannon along with Anna Cardwell will join the cast this time around along with Alana and Pumpkin. However it plays out, its sure to be dramatic and emotional.
