Some text screenshots making the rounds online look like the WE tv pair called it quits. In the most recent episode, the duo got into it over Josh’s mother. Did this drive a wedge between them and make them go their separate ways? Here’s the latest.
Love After Lockup: Did Josh Hyatt and Cheryl Childers Split?
It looks like the Love After Lockup couple split based on recent images surfacing online. There are pictures of Josh Hyatt getting close with another woman that’s not Cheryl Childers. In addition, screenshots from a chat interaction online show Josh admitting he’s single. Love After Lockup watchers recently saw the pair getting busy in the great outdoors. But, things may already be over in real-time.
Cheryl Childers told Love After Lockup WE tv cameras that Josh Hyatt robbing a bank is a turn-on for her. She also wasn’t shy about saying she is obsessed with serial killers. And, based on the recently leaked conversation, Cheryl may have been too much for even a criminal to handle. Josh said he is “single” and called her a “freaking psycho”.
Love After Lockup: Cheryl Moved on Without Josh?
Interestingly, there’s no trace of Josh Hyatt on any of Cheryl Childers’ social media accounts. The young mother has selfies of herself and pictures with her children, but none of Josh. She is adamant on Love After Lockup that things will work out for the pair. But, the reality looks drastically different from the narrative playing out currently on this season of the reality TV show.
Cheryl Childers’ sister Lacey warned her about Josh Hyatt from the very beginning on Love After Lockup. But, the young mother had none of it. She convinced herself that Josh would live with her and her children and they’d be a happy family. Certainly, that doesn’t seem to be the case now. There’s also the fact that she gave Josh over $30,000 since they got together. It looks like she didn’t get much of a return on that investment if the split speculation is true.
Is Josh’s Mother to Blame?
Love After Lockup viewers recently learned of the strained relationship between Cheryl Childers and Josh Hyatt’s mother. Cheryl said in a recent episode that his mother treats her like “f****** garbage”. But, her lockup lover didn’t seem too concerned. He said both women would have to find a way to get along. In addition, he had to stay at his mom’s house with an ankle monitor once he was on the outside.
So, tension was in the air as soon as Cheryl knew what the living situation would be. Perhaps that put too much pressure on their relationship and led to a split. It’s likely both cast members can’t speak on their relationship status publicly for contract reasons. But, between him messaging other women and no trace of him on Cheryl’s social media, it doesn’t look good for the pair.
