General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Gets Played – Sasha Too Good To Be True?
General Hospital spoilers warn Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) might be on another road to heartbreak when it comes to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). There’s something about that girl that doesn’t sit right with many GH fans and now some tidbits leaking from behind the scenes tease there’s more to Sasha than meets the eye. Is this the happy family reunion Nina always wanted or a path to more sadness?
General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Gets Everything
GH spoilers hint that Sasha Gilmore might be playing games with Nina Reeves. Consider on recent episodes how she played hard to get with Nina. First, she said she didn’t want a relationship with her, then she agreed to talk, and now she’s setting up a new life in Port Charles. At every step of the way, Sasha pushed back then had to be talked into things. It could be because she’s genuinely reluctant, or she’s playing a long con on General Hospital.
While Sasha turned down a job at Crimson, she’ll soon be working at The Invader and living rent-free with half-sister Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Kiki’s happy to have more family, but she might also be conned if Sasha isn’t who she says she is. One problem, in particular, is that Sasha Gilmore doesn’t seem to have the other half of that necklace. Wouldn’t Nina’s real daughter have the necklace?

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Is an Easy Target
General Hospital spoilers from right before Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) died revealed that she genuinely wanted to make things right with Nina. On one hand, Madeline wanted help at her parole board hearing. That’s why she summoned Nina Reeves and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to the prison to talk. But there was more to it and she arranged for Nina to get the necklace to find her child.
The necklace is the clue her mother left her, but other tidbits led Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to Sasha Gilmore. Remember, Sasha refused to give the DNA sample in front of Curtis. That’s suspicious. But how could the DNA match Nina if Sasha’s not her kid? If this is a scam, Sasha Gilmore could have some of Madeline’s hair or other genetic material to fake a mother-daughter bio match with Nina Reeves.

If Sasha is a Fake, How Did This Happen?
Some General Hospital sites suggest Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might have set up Sasha as a fake daughter to make Nina Reeves happy. But there’s just no way. Valentin wouldn’t play with Nina’s emotions like that. Plus he’s trying to make amends with her for her anger about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) being given to Faison as a baby. Soap Central reveals he gets Nina to agree to dinner with him so he won’t risk angering her with a fake daughter.
Plus, as fans see from General Hospital spoilers, Valentin and Sasha are strangers. Every conversation, even when no one else is around, makes it clear they don’t know each other. That means if Sasha Gilmore is a fake, someone else is helping her. It’s also not Madeline who would have no reason to send a fake daughter to Nina. A likelier culprit is someone that worked at the prison looking for a payday.
No doubt Madeline talked in front of guards and other prisoners about Nina Reeves. It would be easy for them to Google her and find out Nina’s loaded and would be the perfect target for a scam. A missing daughter makes it easy and they would have access to Madeline to snip her hair, take some blood, or even get a cup with her DNA spittle on it. That could also explain Madeline’s untimely death.
Was Madeline Killed by Sasha Gilmore and Her Co-Schemer?
Everyone wondered why GH spoilers left Madeline dead. She was in fine health when Nina Reeves and Maxie last saw her. She was also alive and well with Valentin showed up to see her. However, Madeline would be a possible complication for the scammers. Getting rid of Madeline would make sure she wasn’t around to cause them problems or expose them as fakes. The scammers might have killed Nina’s mom.
Madeline dying in prison when she was perfectly healthy hints to the person helping Sasha as a prison contact (if Sasha is a scammer). It could be a guard, warden, or even another prisoner. There are no official General Hospital spoilers yet on whether Sasha is playing games. The set leaker we often reference says Sasha isn’t who she says but that Nina’s true daughter eventually turn up. General Hospital will show more on this soon.
