General Hospital spoilers tease that Henrik Faison (Wes Ramsey) might be baby James West’s only hope for survival. Early speculation suggests that the baby may contract a serious illness that requires a donation from a blood relative. If this is the case, then “Uncle Henrik” could have a shot at redemption.

General Hospital Spoilers – Baby James may need saving
Born just a few weeks ago, baby James is already off to a rough start. Prior to his birth, his father, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), was killed in the line of duty by his own father, renowned psychopath Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Weeks later, James had an early arrival as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gave birth to him on the side of the road. She was assisted by Henrik, aka Peter August, who is also Faison’s son.
Maxie, while grieving the loss of her husband, Nathan, is currently full of hope now that little James is at home and out of the NICU. Some GH rumors hint that her hopes could fade as soon as she realizes that something is not quite right with her son. If baby James makes a return trip to the hospital, a grim diagnosis could offer Peter a chance to save himself. Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), may consider the possibility that her hostage, Henrik, is the key to saving her grandchild’s life – if this scenario plays out as rumored.
Baby James might be Peter’s way out
Peter, the son of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Faison, could actually have a shot at redemption. That is, if this scenario proves to be true. A recap of Peter’s history from GH spoilers reminds us that he grew up in a boarding school always desiring to have a traditional family. This desire compelled him to grow close to his sister-in-law, Maxie. Peter is likely to do anything for her and his nephew, James.
Presuming Peter overhears Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) and Obrecht talking about the baby’s health, there is no doubt that he would want to help. Nina is already sympathetic to Peter because she knows what it is like to have a not-so-loving childhood. However, the choice to free Peter would ultimately fall on the shoulders of Obrecht as she is in control.
Sick baby – Peter redeemed?
According to General Hospital Spoilers from Soaps in Depth, Peter is no saint. Dr. O blames Peter for the death of her son. However, if little James does become sick, Obrecht may give Peter one final chance to redeem himself in her eyes.
Maxie currently has no idea to where Peter has vanished. In the event that James needs Peter’s help, she and many others are likely to join the search for him. This chain of events could cause the walls to start caving in on Obrecht and Nina. Dr. O’s revenge against Peter may just have to wait. Or maybe she will decide that holding him responsible for Nathan’s death is more important than saving her grandson.
