90 Day Fiance: Brett Otto’s Wife Daya De Arce Posts on COVID-19

In the last few days, Daya’s been posting light-hearted things regarding COVID-19 and husband Brett Otto.

The 90 Day Fiance wife posted a screenshot of her and Brett practicing “social distancing” from one another. Apparently, they were communicating with one another while one spouse was upstairs and the other was downstairs. Whether it’s that or laziness, it works.

In another post, Daya De Arce has a meme joking about having a “bring your own toilet paper” policy in her home. Considering how those rolls are worth their weight in gold, that may just be a smart policy for the Otto household.

But just yesterday, the 90 Day Fiance alum posted something more serious: her hubby Brett Otto may have been sick with coronavirus.

Brett May Have Caught Coronavirus Back in December 2019

On his blog site The K1 Experience, Brett Otto revealed four days ago that he probably had COVID-19 back in December, way before the first case was even discovered in his home state of Washington.

There was a nasty bug going around in Snohomish County, and both Brett and his friend fell ill right before they went to the Philippines and South Korea.

During his time there, 90 Day Fiance husband Brett ran a high temperature of 101° F. His literally felt like dying, that’s how bad it was. His friend was also very sick, coughing up a storm this whole time.

Brett Otto seemed to recover for a bit, but then also caught the serious cough. When he returned home, he found out other members of his community suffered from this flu-like illness too. At this point, coronavirus was a huge suspect.

90 Day Fiance Update: Brett and Daya Doing Well With Toddler Isabella

Brett was gravely ill just a few months ago. But you’ll be pleased to know that he fully recovered and is healthy. To this day, he’s still not sure if he actually had the coronavirus. But whatever way you slice it, Brett Otto did not do too well in December.

Since their marriage back in 2015, the 90 Day Fiance couple has led a relatively quiet life. They appeared on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? and has since kept off the big screen.

In 2017, Brett Otto and his family welcomed baby Isabella, much to the excitement of Cassidy, his other daughter from his previous marriage. If you looked up a picture of a happy blended family, it’d be them.

Nowadays, Daya works as a nurse while Brett works for Boeing. Daya enjoys updating fans on Isabella on her Instagram while Brett likes to work on his blog.
