Young Joy-Anna Duggar and husband Austin Forsyth shared that they thought her pregnancy was fine. In fact, the two went to the doctor to find out the gender. They were excited to add another family member. But, the ultrasound tech told them the baby no longer had a heartbeat.
At first, Joy-Anna Duggar was in disbelief, as she said on Counting On. She couldn’t believe the baby wasn’t with them anymore and even questioned what she meant. At first, she thought the lady meant her machine was messing up. But, the doctor confirmed the baby passed away.
And, since she was so far along in her pregnancy, they induced her and she birthed the baby. Joy-Anna from Counting On was able to hold her baby, Annabell Elise, before burying her. She also installed a headstone and planted a tree near the baby’s grave to watch it grow.
