In recent episodes of Counting On, fans noticed that Jill Duggar Dillard wasn’t present at the celebrations. In fact, production blurred out her children’s faces on the show. Viewers aren’t sure if it was at Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar’s request or Jill’s request.
Whatever the case, fans commented that it was very sad. Other fans shot back that Jill might not want to be included with the family anymore. In fact, it is common to see her post jabs about being in bondage or people not understanding you.
On Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, it’s always interesting to see if she will address her parents. But she usually doesn’t have anything good to say about them. And seems to want to keep pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing—unlike her husband, Derick Dillard.
Derick Dillard Speaks Out Against Jim Bob Duggar
Counting On originally was about Jill and Jessa Duggar. But when Jill and Derick left the show, it started morphing back to focusing on Jim Bob and his wife, Michelle. Fans aren’t happy about this, and Derick blasted out that Jim Bob has always pulled the strings.
He also said that none of the kids get any money from being on the show. In fact, that’s a big reason why Jill Duggar and sweetheart Derick Dillard left. Derick said he wouldn’t come back unless he had his own contract.
It doesn’t seem like TLC wants to upset Jim Bob. After all, they’ve had a long-running relationship. And, Derick did make some terrible remarks about another TLC star, so they likely don’t want to deal with those issues either.
Counting On: Jill & Derick Enjoy Date Night Guilt-Free
What is all the fuss about, and how is Jill Duggar of Counting On breaking the rules? Jill now drinks alcohol, and it’s not just speculation this time. In fact, Jill said that she was drinking alcohol, so there’s no guesswork required.
Derick and Jill went out for Mexican food on their date night. And it looks like they enjoyed a great time with at least one alcoholic beverage. Everyone already knew that Derick enjoyed the occasional beer, but now Jill is out in the open with her alcohol consumption.
Fans of Counting On cheered her on. And said things like, “Good for you,” and “Ah, that’s my favorite.” So, it seems like Jill is comfortable letting the world—and her parents—know who is the boss of her life.
