Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Logan Drove Katie Logan to Drink
Remember on B&B when Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) tormented Katie Logan (Heather Tom) into addiction? That was around the same time that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) built a secret nookie room off his office at Spencer Publications on Bold and the Beautiful.
Then, he and Brooke were canoodling on the sly. That and Brooke’s inability to cut ties with Bill pushed Katie too far. So, she started drinking and wound up battling alcoholism. That’s twice as bad because Katie’s got a heart condition, as Bold and the Beautiful viewers know.
In the end, Bill and Brooke pushed Katie into a dangerous addiction. Then, Bill made a move to snatch custody of Katie’s son Will Spencer. It mirrors what’s happening now with Hope Logan. Since Hope seems to be helping drive Steffy Forrester over the edge on Bold and the Beautiful – is she following in her mom’s footsteps?

B&B Spoilers: Hope Logan Lied and Kept Steffy Forrester’s Daughter From Her
Bold and the Beautiful fans saw that Steffy Forrester popped a pill with a beer only after Hope kept her daughter away from her. The bottom line is that Hope Logan is not Kelly Spencer’s (Zoe Pennington) mother. And Hope seems to be playing Disneyland step-mom to Kelly.
It’s not okay to entice Kelly to stay with them instead of going home to her mom on Bold and the Beautiful. And Hope Logan keeping her kid away from her pushed Steffy Forrester into taking that first pill, not for physical pain – but emotional pain. And sometimes, one is all it takes.
Of course, Hope didn’t plan to push Steffy into addiction. Likewise, Brooke didn’t plan to topple Katie into alcoholism. But the Logan women are also pretty grabby on Bold and the Beautiful. Spoilers remind that if they want something, they take it – whether it’s a man or someone’s child on the CBS sudser.
How Far Does Hope Push Steffy on Bold and the Beautiful?
There’s a lot more backstory to the Hope-Steffy dynamic fueling these problems on B&B. Remember that Hope Logan promised that Steffy Forrester could spend time with Beth Spencer – yet she never lets her. So, to Steffy, it’s like baby Phoebe is now dead to her – and it hurts.
Plus, Bold and the Beautiful history reminds that Hope grabbed Steffy’s nephew with Brooke prodding her to do it. As Bill reminded Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), it was a bad idea for him to send Hope over to do the kid swap with Steffy. Plus, Hope lied to Liam and didn’t take Kelly along.
Then, Hope salted the wound on Bold and the Beautiful by starting an inappropriate dialog with Steffy Forrester’s doctor. All Hope Logan needed to do was bring Kelly home, as promised. Instead, she trashed Steffy in front of her doc. Plus, she kept her daughter away from Steffy and pushed her too far.
In the end, it was Steffy’s choice to pop the pill (and more soon enough). But it’s clear that Hope Logan’s part of the problems pushing Steffy Forrester into addiction. And it’s not the first time a Logan drove someone into addiction. So, stay tuned to the CBS sudsfest.
