‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Eric Forrester – Sweet Grandpa or Lady-Loving Lothario?
Bold and the Beautiful these days has Eric Forrester (John McCook) as a doting grandpa, father, and sweet husband. But, back in the day, Eric was sexier, more troublesome, and colored outside the lines more often. It’s no wonder he’s excited by Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Who Plays Eric Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful?
That’s the most frequent question from B&B fans about this character. The talented John McCook originated the role in 1987 and played it ever since then. In real life, John’s 75, so Eric Forrester’s presumably the same age. The actor has four children, two boys, and two girls.
As for Eric, he’s got six biological children, one adopted one, and one that he took on as his own on Bold and the Beautiful. As you may know, Eric Forrester’s two baby mamas are Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

While some in the Forrester family think Quinn’s somehow “beneath” Eric, if you watched back in the day, you’d know he’s a troublemaker in his right. And, he’s got a taste for bad girls. However, Bold and the Beautiful is now writing him as a benevolent granddad and all-around mellow man.
