‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Bring Back Ivy Forrester – Here’s Why She’s Needed
Bold and the Beautiful needs to bring back Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) as soon as they resume filming new episodes. It’s for several reasons. It’s been more than two years since Ivy was on B&B, and she’s long overdue. Take a look at why the CBS sudser needs her back ASAP once they start back filming new episodes.
Ivy Forrester’s Needed on Bold and the Beautiful for John Forrester Funeral
The first reason that B&B must bring back Ivy Forrester is to acknowledge the loss of Fred Willard. You may recall that Fred played Ivy’s father, John Forrester. He’s Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) brother. Sadly, Fred Willard passed away on May 15.
That was long after Bold and the Beautiful went on shutdown for COVID-19. Surely, B&B will address this loss on-screen once they resume shooting, right? And it would be a disservice for the soap to announce that John died, but not bring back his daughter.
Let’s hope that Bold and the Beautiful bring back Ivy so that the Forrester family can have a proper memorial for John once filming resumes. But that’s not the only reason to bring back Ivy Forrester. She can be useful in several ongoing storylines.
Wyatt Spencer Could Use Ivy Right Now on B&B
Everyone’s waiting for Bold and the Beautiful new episodes to return, and when they do, there are a few plots that could use Ivy Forrester. The first is Wyatt Spencer’s (Darin Brooks) messy love life. Right now, he’s juggling Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden).
Both these ladies are trouble for Wyatt on Bold and the Beautiful. So, bringing back Ivy would give him another love prospect that’s not a baby stealer or disease scammer. Remember, last time Ivy had a big storyline, it was a rivalry over Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with Steffy.
Now, with Liam married to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), they need some tension in their relationship on Bold and the Beautiful. Otherwise, they’ll be too dull to see on-screen. So, Ivy might be a temptation for Liam, since most fans are sick of him toying with Steffy on the CBS soap. Perhaps they’ll add Ivy back while working on new episode scripts as a Spencer brother love interest.

Logans Running Rampant – Another Forrester Welcome on Bold and the Beautiful
Bringing back Ivy to B&B would also counter-balance all that Logan-centric activity. Longtime viewers know that showrunner Bradley Bell always likes the Logans to get their way, but it’s overwhelming right now. So, why not bring back Ivy and unite the Forresters?
If Bold and the Beautiful brought back Ivy, she could work with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to take down those interloping Logans a notch. That would be a treat for Forrester fans.
After all, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) runs around the Forrester family business, acting like she’s the boss on Bold and the Beautiful. Some fans might like to see Ivy and the other Forresters of her generation take back control.
