‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Brad Bell Spills When New Episodes Will Air?

Bold and the Beautiful‘s back to filming for the third week in a row with Brad Bell at the helm. And that means they’ll start editing soon. We’d expect an announcement on the air dates for new B&B episodes once they have a week of scenes filmed. For now, here’s the latest info on when you’ll see fresh episodes of the CBS soap.

Bold and the Beautiful Started Filming Week of June 15 – Brad Bell Ready to Go

On June 17, 2020, B&B shot new scenes with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). So, fans wonder if Bill had scenes with Steffy or if they were working with others that didn’t publicize their work dates.

We also heard from Bold and the Beautiful actor John McCook (AKA Eric Forrester) that they’d film separately with some actors talking to an empty room. Then other actors would shoot the other side of the scenes, and CBS daytime editors would cut them together.

After a day of shooting at Bold and the Beautiful, Brad Bell had to shut down until June 23. After that, more actors got back to work, including Courtney Hope as Sally Spectra, among others. So, when can we see B&B new episodes on the air? Brad offered some hints in a recent chat.

Will B&B Keep Filming New Episodes – or Could They Be Shut Down Again?

Right now, Bold and the Beautiful is hard at work. In a recent post-Daytime Emmy interview, showrunner Brad Bell confirmed they were filming and leaked a little info on when we’d see new shows. Now, Brad says they’re still working and that there’s lots of “fun drama” ahead.

The last shutdown at Bold and the Beautiful was about test issues. And the soap had to change things. They went from a less invasive saliva swab to an uncomfortable, but more accurate, giant q tip down your nose and throat test. With that in place, Brad Bell got the CBS sudser back to work.

We reported a leak on the first eight actors back to work at Bold and the Beautiful. And now, we’re anticipating three to four weeks of editing once shows complete filming. However, because of social distance, it’s unlikely B&B can work at the hectic pace Brad Bell usually demands.

So When Will Bold and the Beautiful New Episodes Air?

In a recent interview with Michael Fairman about B&B’s writing team win, Brad Bell offered a timeline for fans. Brad said they’ve been working on scripts and have a pile of material they “feel very good” about filming.

Then, Brad Bell said Bold and the Beautiful would have a “great end of Summer and Fall.” Pull out your calendars and see Summer ends September 22, 2020. While we’ve heard they hope to get episodes on air by August, it sounds like it could be later that month, not earlier.

So, brace yourselves, Bold and the Beautiful fans. We might have another six to eight weeks of re-runs to watch before we get to see what Bill, Steffy, and the others are up to in LA. And, what Wyatt saw when he opened the door to his home. Stay tuned for more updates on Brad Bell’s soap.
