Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown looks like he’s barking up a new tree for a career change after sharing his recent creations with fans. Maybe the eldest son of the Alaskan Bush People brood is looking to expand with a new venture. It looks like he’s doing something different now as he shares another one of his talents with followers.
Alaskan Bush People: Matt Brown Pops Up With New Venture?
It seems Matt Brown’s skills go beyond seeking Alaskan Bush People reality show fame. His recent online posts suggest he may get some inspiration from the TV show SpongeBob SquarePants. Once you get a glimpse of his creativity you may agree. So is Matt moving onto new horizons or is he part of the new season rolling out next week?
A while back reports put Matt extending that olive branch to his Alaskan Bush People father, Billy Brown. The result seemed to indicate that Billy let Matt back on the reality show. It appears this was the original goal of Matt Brown’s meeting with his dad, so it sounded successful.
Billy booted Matt off the Alaskan Bush People show a while back. His unreliability, while he struggled with addiction problems, was the reported reason at the time. But it looks like Matt has more than a year’s sobriety under his belt today. So reports indicate Papa Brown allowed him back for the new season. But is he back?
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words – So What’s Matt Brown Up To These Days?
The Discovery Channel promo, which is an Alaskan Bush People family portrait for the new season, doesn’t seem to include Matt. So whether or not he’s appearing on the show is still unknown.
The first photo above is the family photo for this new season. The second is the family portrait used in previous seasons. The new photo is missing two of the Alaskan Bush People brothers.
The same goes for Joshua “Bam” Brown as well in the promo pic. He’s not in the family photo either. So it seems Billy Brown has two of his wolfpack missing from the premiere family portrait as the new season rolls out.
Alaskan Bush People – Art Inspiration?
The oldest Alaskan Bush People child looks as if he’s exploring the art world today. Matt creates drawings and paintings while demonstrating in detail how he goes about this.
Not only does Matt share photos of his artwork online, but he offers a few videos of his drawings in various stages of completion. He’s showing fans how they come together as he works on them.
He’s certainly receiving a lot of encouragement from his fans in the comment sections of his posts. Art is in the eye of the beholder so his creations might not float everyone’s boat. There are a few of his underwater scenes in the post above.
Even though Matt Brown is often referred to as one of the Alaskan Bush People kids, the guy turned 37 in September, so he’s a grown man. So what will the next venture in life look like for this adult Alaskan Bush People son? Is painting replacing his TV gig?
For one thing, Matt appears to take his latest artwork venture seriously. But it also looks like Matt Brown might be a fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, as some of his drawings depict life under the ocean. From the jellyfish to the shrimp, that’s the stuff SpongeBob has in his world.
Matt also displays some child-like behavior in his posts. He has a few videos of him juggling, wearing a mask and playing games. His latest under the ocean paintings look playful as well. So will Matt turn into the artist in the family? Will his reality show fame allow him to sell his creations?
Only time will tell if Matt Brown shows back up on Alaskan Bush People, which rolls out next week on Wednesday, December 4, on the Discovery Channel. But if not, it looks like he has a new gig to fall back on. There are probably some fans out there who would love to own a Matt Brown original.
