On November 27, 90 Day Fiance celeb Syngin Colchester appeared in court on two separate charges. One was for not wearing a seatbelt while driving and the other was drug possession. He was charged in July, but the story broke after his court appearance. It’s something that could have the potential to affect his K-1 visa status in America.
Recently, the other half of the 90 Day Fiance couple Tania Maduro posted a drug-related video clip online. The video featured stoner anthem Because I Got High by Afroman. And, it featured what looked to be marijuana buds. So, Tania seemed to be showing off drugs. But was she really?
Is Tania Maduro Shading Syngin – Or Sharing Witch Doctor Lessons?
In fact, Tania Maduro’s not showing off pot – it was hemp flower from a CBD farm. After Tania received lots of attention from 90 Day Fiance followers for her video, she later revealed that it wasn’t marijuana, but was legal CBD. But, what’s Tania’s reason for the bait and switch social post? Maybe she’s poking fun at Syngin Colchester for his recent legal troubles and she’s having a good laugh.
Soap Dirt got exclusive information from a 90 Day Fiance source saying Tania and Syngin were spotted out and about together in Connecticut Christmas shopping not too long ago. The couple has had problems in the past, but appear to be over them. The hemp flower might have something to do with Tania’s recent interest in alternative medicine.
Before Tania’s season of 90 Day Fiance was on the air, she had been begging for money online to go to Costa Rica for an “herbal intensive” retreat. She called it a “witch doctor” school.

Quickly, Tania Maduro revealed she was joking and wasn’t showing off drugs. In fact after adding “jk”, she wrote “Totally not that cool”. So, does Tania think drugs are cool, but she’s not cool enough to do them – unlike Syngin Colchester? So, she’s not up to anything illegal.
But, Tania might have been poking a little fun at the expense of Syngin Colchester. Since he’s obviously cool enough to have real weed. Or it may be a little bit of fun shade Tania Maduro’s thrown Syngin Colchester’s way. Either way, it was a great choice of song.
