90 Day Fiance couple Paul Staehle and Karine Martins want fans of the show to know something about them – they’re friendly. It seems Paul noticed pictures popping up online of him, Karine, and baby Pierre Staehle recently. He said he’s seen a lot of people secretly snapping photos of him and his little family as they do errands around town.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way – Paul Staehle and Wife Karine Martins Are Friendly
While he’s not upset over this, he just wants 90 Day Fiance fans to know the Staehle family is friendly. Also, they’re approachable while out in public. Paul and Karine are making themselves a home together in Louisville, Kentucky. And like any other couple, they go out and do errands in the area where they live.
This week alone Karine Martins and Paul Staehle, along with their baby son Pierre, hit a few different places. The 90 Day Fiance trio was snapped in pictures as they shopped at Walmart. And also as they visited the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles).
It seems Paul Staehle is flattered that there were so many 90 Day Fiance followers secretly taking these photos. But he’d rather they ask him and Karine. Apparently, Paul and his wife eyed folks with their phones out and snapping photos of them. That probably feels a bit odd for the couple, after all, they’re not stationary tourist icons like a couple of statues. The new papa would rather meet the viewers of the reality show.
The Other Way: ‘Just Normal People’
So after seeing the photos online, Paul Staehle offers a shout out to the folks they come across in public. He wants to know they are “just normal people.” He also wants to pass along to the 90 Day Fiance viewers that folks can feel comfortable approaching both him and Karine. They’d be happy to take selfies with people. Paul Staehle reports they take selfies all the time when people ask the couple.
While Paul Staehle and his little family currently appear on the 90 Day Fiance series The Other Way, the filming completed a while back. Paul had every intention of making his home in Brazil, Karine Martins’ native country. But his application for permanent citizenship was denied. So instead of living in Brazil, which is the premise of The Other Way, he did an about-face with his family and headed back to the US.
90 Day Fiance: Paul Americanizes Karine Martins
Soap Dirt was first to report Paul and his new family arrived in the US earlier this month. While 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way is still rolling out new episodes, the filming for that season is through. Right now fans are watching as things get a bit rocky for Paul and Karine in Brazil.
Jump ahead to real-time, it seems Paul Staehle is Americanizing Karine Martins with trips to some of the most frequented places in the US. No, not tourist attractions but the places some might call the necessary evils of everyday life. Grocery shopping and the DMV is nothing to write home to mother about. But at the same time, Karine gets a taste of reality in America.
To see the photos of Karine and Paul walking into the DMV with their baby in a stroller, they look like a typical young family. It seems their trip to the DMV wasn’t to get Karine a driver’s license but a photo ID. According to a source within earshot of Paul, he wanted a photo ID for Karine Martins.
Apparently, Karine Martins only has her passport for identification right now so she needed a second form of ID. While the DMV is the place to get your driver’s license, people can also get an official picture ID from this arm of the state government.
