’90 Day Fiance’: Nicole Nafziger’s Real Baby Daddy Found?
90 Day Fiance fans often criticize Nicole Nafziger for her single parenting style. They also wonder who is the real father of little May and why he isn’t seen on the TLC show or on Nicole’s social media. Watchers know that Azan Tefou is not the father of Nicole’s young daughter although Nicole has her calling him “daddy”. So, who is Nicole’s baby daddy, where is he now, and what’s the backstory on his role in May’s life?
90 Day Fiance: Who Is Nicole Nafziger’s Baby Daddy?
According to old Facebook posts, 90 Day Fiance‘s Nicole Nafziger was seeing a young man named Steve (last name withheld for privacy reasons) between 2011 and 2013. Steve posted that Nicole Nafziger was his fiance even referring to her at one point with his last name attached to hers. Then in 2013, he posted that they were having a girl. This was way before Nicole ever got together with Azan Tefou. Old Facebook posts from this guy suggest the pair were happy at one point and very excited to welcome a daughter into the world.
These social posts also suggest that Steve was very much involved with May’s mama at one point. He even referred to Nicole as his fiance with repeat mentions of how much he loves her and calling her “the best girlfriend ever”. On the surface, this seems to say that this Steve might be May’s father and was really into Nicole at one point. Certainly, this is a far cry from Azan Tefou saying he was only 55% attracted to Nicole. It’s also apparent that Nicole Nafziger has a type. At a glimpse, Steve resembles Azan Tefou in more than a few ways.
90 Day Fiance: Is Steve Still in Nicole and May’s Life?
Interestingly, it seems Steve isn’t actively part of May’s life. Nicole Nafziger did admit that she and her baby daddy are still in contact, though. However, it seems he isn’t involved in the day-to-day comings and goings of his daughter’s life. She admitted that May’s father doesn’t see his daughter on a regular basis and that he doesn’t have custody.
Nicole Says Baby Daddy Never Met Little May in Person
Though his Instagram profile has no posts, his profile picture features he and another woman together. Despite how smitten Steve seemed by Nicole Nafziger a few years ago, it seems that they both moved on. Interestingly, when Nicole went to Morocco for a few weeks to see Azan Tefou, she left little May behind in America with relatives. That was her family, though, not her biological father. She said May’s father sometimes video chats with his daughter, but hasn’t met her in person.
What’s Up With Nicole, May, and Azan Tefou Now
In a lot of ways, Azan Tefou has become a father figure to May. 90 Day Fiance viewers are often critical of Nicole Nafziger for her style of parenting. When Nicole refused to give her daughter a pacifier on her first day in Morocco, Azan was the one that insisted she give it to her daughter. May was roughly 20 months old when her mother and Azan Tefou were cast on 90 Day Fiance. Now, she’s nearly ready to start school in Morocco.
Speaking of school, Nicole found herself in the hot seat recently with 90 Day Fiance viewers over the issue. Some viewers accused her of putting May’s schooling on hold so that she can continue to pursue things with Azan. In response, she fired back at her critics and said they know nothing. She also said she has everything worked out.
While there are certainly things that need ironing out, it seems both mother and daughter are happy. Nicole recently updated IG with snaps of she and May at Disney World. In addition, it seems she wants to continue her life in Morocco and raise her daughter there. If Steve is May’s father and has no custody or relationship with his daughter, he may not be an obstacle to her moving far away with their child.
