’90 Day Fiance’: Nicole’s New Clap Back Misinformed & Doesn’t Explain Moroccan Delay

90 Day Fiance‘s Nicole Nafziger slapped back again at Laura Jallali’s advice about leaving her daughter – and about Azan Tefou. However, Nicole wasn’t quite honest (or was ill-informed) in her weak reply as she remains far from her daughter when the door was open for her to go home long ago. See the latest.

90 Day Fiance: Laura Jallali Offers Advice on Staying in Morocco for a Man

This back and forth drama started when Laura Jallali from The Other Way advised Nicole Nafziger to “return to your daughter.” If you’re not current on Nicole’s situation, she left daughter May Nafziger behind in mid-March 2020 to travel to Morocco to be with Azan.

Since then, more than four months lapsed where 90 Day Fiance celeb Nicole chose to stay there rather than come home to her child. Both the US and UK governments offered repatriation flights from Morocco back to the US – at no out of pocket cost – to get Americans back home. Yet Nicole stayed.

After months away from May, 90 Day Fiance fans grew increasingly enraged that Nicole Nafziger didn’t return home. Finally, Laura chimed in telling her to “not make the same mistake I did” and said that May “needs her mom.” Laura also alleged that Azan has “a wife and children.” So, Nicole hit back.

Nicole Nafziger Swipes Back Twice – Once with Words, Once in Voice – Was She Honest?

Nicole Nafziger of 90 Day Fiance said “my situation is not yours” and not to “believe rumors.” Then, she said she’d be with May “as soon as I can.” However, it’s a fact – not a rumor – that there were many affordable flights for no initial cost – since March when the lockdown began.

Later, Nicole called in briefly to Sharell’s World vlog to speak on Azan’s rumored kids and wife, as mentioned by Laura. The 90 Day Fiance star mom confirmed she’s still in Morocco. She said, “things are good”. Nicole Nafziger also said she misses May but says they talk often.

Then, Nicole denied that her 90 Day Fiance Azan’s married to his cousin, and has kids. On the subject of cousin marriage, she said, “even in Morocco, it’s not a thing”. Then, when asked if they’d ever get married, she dropped the call and Nicole didn’t come back. Were her statements accurate?

90 Day Fiance Fact Check – Nicole vs. Laura

First, Nicole Nafziger claimed she’d be back to May “as soon as I can”. However, US and UK embassies sponsored many flights since March. These were on an IOU basis with no money up-front. Plus, commercial flights are available daily now from Morocco to the US for about $1k one-way.

Second, Nicole claims 90 Day Fiance TOW star Laura’s wrong about Azan having a cousin-wife. Yet her claim it’s “not a thing” there is off base. In truth, it is very much a thing there. Consanguineous marriage (marrying a blood relation) is a tradition in most Arabic countries. And first cousins are the most common match.

A study from a few years ago by the Journal of Biosocial Science found more than 15.2% of marriages in Azan’s homeland are between blood relatives. The journal concluded that Morocco has one of the “highest rates of consanguinity” – cousin marriage… So, was Nicole Nafziger trying to mislead 90 Day Fiance fans?

What’s clear is there are flights every day from Morocco to the US. But, so far, Nicole Nafziger’s not on one of them. Perhaps Laura’s criticism struck a nerve. But fans mostly agree with Laura. And they wonder why Nicole’s staying with Azan – and not returning to her young daughter.
