’90 Day Fiance’: Jibri Bell Married Miona Pre-2020 — What is TLC Showing Us?

90 Day Fiance newcomers Jibri Bell and now-wife Miona Bell start the season with the usual drama will they or won’t they — but our research shows they said “I do” at least two years ago…

90 Day Fiance: Jibri Bell & Miona Bell Start Off on the Wrong Foot?

During TLC’s new season of 90 Day Fiance, fans see Jibri’s mother has some thoughts on her son and his fiancée’s relationship. In addition, Jibri Bell’s mom, Mahala Bach, says that she has some real issues with Miona Bell fitting in with their family.

First, Jibri currently lives in her home in Rapid City, South Dakota, to save money. He’s living with her and his stepdad Brian Bach, whom he considers his father, as his bio-dad isn’t in the picture.

Before Miona joins Jibri in the US, his mom did a little social media stalking of her son’s lady. After snooping on Miona’s Instagram, Mahala does not care for what she sees.

Miona likes to dress in revealing clothing. And Jibri’s mom tells her son her home has rules, and she expects Miona to abide by them. So, she wants her to dress more conservatively, she says on 90 Day Fiance.

This discussion makes Jibri Bell very uneasy, and he quickly makes excuses for Miona Bell. He tells his mom that Miona enjoys dressing in revealing clothing like he enjoys wearing bright-colored garments.

But is all this just the storyline we’ve just recapped above what the producers decided to present on the TLC show? Because they’ve been together for years and married for a while now, according to our research.

Online, both Jibri and also Miona use the same last name already. That already has some fans suspicious of what lies ahead in Season 9. With 90 Day Fiance, all may not be as it seems. We found an interview from two years ago listing them as married…

Miona Wants a Kardashian Lifestyle Her Fiance Can’t Afford? TLC Preview

On the show, you’ll see Mahala pushing back about Miona. And Jibri reveals he thinks his mom is testing Miona. He also says that he hopes Miona does not insult his family. He does not want to be in the middle of a war between his love and his mother.

But the biggest issue for the 90 Day Fiance couple that will cause a lot of “drama” is that Miona wants to live a particular lifestyle. She feels entitled to live in luxury. Jibri Bell already said he lives at home because he’s been broke.

As Jibri is a struggling musician who is not making much money, things are tight. And he says that Miona wants a “Kardashian” like-lifestyle that he can’t afford right now. And she wants to live in LA — not in the small town of Rapid City, South Dakota.

The 90 Day Fiance stars are not on the same page with their finances. Jibri tells Miona they will only live in Rapid City for a short period. It is just a way to save money for their wedding and move.

However, she is not happy with that. But Miona won’t let Jibri off the hook. She wants what she wants and expects him to give it to her. That includes a beach wedding and the life she wants in LA or New York.

Mom Mahala tells Jibri Bell that Miona is only looking for someone to support the life she wants. She feels that if her son cannot give her that, there will be many problems in their marriage. But how much of this is drama manufactured for the TLC show?

It looks like they’ve known each other for years and Miona’s no stranger to the family, according to our research… As of now, both are in Palm Springs, California. She’s working as a makeup artist, and he’s working on his body, according to his social posts.

90 Day Fiance Spoilers: Jibri Already Married — Some History Not Shown

According to our findings, the pair married before June 2020. Two years ago, Jibri took refuge in Serbia after George Floyd’s May 20, 2020 death and the unrest that followed. He and then-wife Miona talked to a Serbian outlet about why he’d relocated there.

He’s given himself a Serbian name he uses while in Europe — Jovan Crnovic. And if you watch the video below, you can hear him speak the language fluently. This is not the usual deal where an American meets someone online, has a language barrier, etc.

In fact, Jibri Bell first went to Serbia in 2013 when he was just out of his teens. So, he’s not the usual clueless foreigner that can’t navigate (like Corey Rathgeber, among others).

And he met Miona Bell in time to marry her pre-2020. Keep reading to see how we confirmed that.

Married to Miona Since at Least 2020 — According to a Serbian Interview

While TLC set this up as a will-they, wont-they marry on 90 Day Fiance, according to this interview, they’ve been hitched for at least two years.

On June 18, 2020, a Serbian outlet published their interview with Jibri about why he’d taken refuge there after the Floyd case ripped America apart. See some images below, including the interviewer referring to her as “Miona Bell” and Jibri’s wife.

90 Day Fiance: Jibri Bell

Of course, they might have wed in Serbia and not the US. But an American can easily register a foreign wedding in the US for immigration purposes. Back on Before the 90 Days Season 2, that’s what Rachel Bear did after marrying Jon Walters in the UK.

Then, they tried for a spousal visa CR-1 after their lawyer told them a K-1 was unlikely due to Jon’s violent criminal record. Wait to see if the network reveals the Bells married before they filmed this season.

If what they stated in their 2020 interview was accurate, then a lot of what we’re seeing could be smoke and mirrors. In the same 2020 interview, Jibri Bell said he’d already brought his grandmother, sister, and cousin to visit Serbia.

It seems strange he’d bring his mother’s mother over to Europe pre-2020 and yet his mother doesn’t seem to know Miona as Season 9 begins.

So, is this a contrived storyline? Wait to see what they’ll say but with that interview contradicting the plotline, what can we believe?
