’90 Day Fiance’: Colt Milks Booze-Guzzling Scene Online in Cryptic Messages?

90 Day Fiance star Colt Johnson stunned the audience in a scene Sunday night but now it seems he’s taking it further on social media today. It looks like Colt might not always be as low-keyed as he appears on the TLC show. Or maybe he just wants 90 Day Fiance fans to think that he’s got a wild side.

That booze-guzzling scene from the last episode seemed completely out of the norm for him. But now it looks as if Colt Johnson makes an attempt to share a message with his fans about it on Instagram today. But what that message is, it’s hard to say.

90 Day Fiance: Colt Johnson Not a Sipper

So what message is Colt Johnson sending? He’s currently appearing in 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. He co-stars with his now ex-wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima. So is he looking back or going forward with his latest post?

As fans watch the latest season they get a ringside seat to the demise of Colt Johnson’s marriage. But at the same time, he’s already living as a divorced bachelor in real-life. So it’s hard to decipher what Colt’s latest posts online points to. Is he elaborating on how he felt during that episode? Or is it how she’s still making him feel today?

On Sunday’s 90 Day Fiance, this fuming husband went to the kitchen after a fight with Larissa. He opened a cabinet and took out a bottle of what looks to be whiskey.

The label is turned sideways, but fans recognized Jack Daniels’ face. Now Colt’s post seems to confirm this. But that scene filmed several months ago, so why did he post play on bourbon online today? It seems that Colt may not know that Bourbon comes from Kentucky and Jack Daniels is whiskey distilled in Tennessee. But it’s a joke, and fans seem to give him a pass.

Getting More Play Out of Whiskey-Gulping Scene?

Colt Johnson guzzled what was left in that bottle on 90 Day Fiance after a blowout battle with Larissa. If you happened to catch Pillow Talk then you saw the reaction among the 90 Day Fiance stars at home in bed watching Colt Johnson’s marathon chug. Now it looks like after Colt’s massive swig of booze went viral, Colt decided to play with that scene just a bit online.

Colt’s dark sense of humor suggested alcohol makes a good lunch as he posts a picture of Nicolas Cage filling up a cart at a liquor store from the film Leaving Las Vegas. He captioned the image “Time for Lunch”.

He also shows a photo of his music on his car dashboard that just happens to have a tune about bourbon plugged in. Maybe he’s telling fans this is what life was like at home with Larissa. It’s a side of him that fans didn’t get to see before.

It seems like Colt had a spot outside the bedroom door where he stood when Larissa’s anger kept her locked in. From season to season Colt negotiated his marriage from outside the door to his bedroom a few times.  While fans didn’t see him reach for the bourbon then, they sure did last week.

All About the Bourbon Today?

On Sunday night’s 90 Day Fiance episode, Colt Johnson made it obvious Larissa pushed his buttons. It appeared Colt reached for the Jack Daniels bottle above the kitchen sink as his anger grew.

This gave some viewers the feeling that they just learned about his secret hiding place for the bottle. Considering Colt made a b-line to the bottle, it’s probably safe to assume it was all his.

Colt watched Larissa exit as she spits tacks all the way out the door. It sounds as if Colt calls it quits with his wife after all that vile language spewed. Especially when talking about his mom, Debbie Johnson. 90 Day Fiance viewers haven’t stopped talking about Colt’s go-to cabinet and what he did with that bottle inside – empty it.

90 Day Fiance: So What’s Colt Saying?

It looks as though Colt is aware of all the fanfare from that scene and he’s having a good time with it online. But does he have a cryptic message wrapped up in his latest posts? Is he letting fans know just how bad his home life was at the time?

Or is he saying he still cringes from time to time and alcohol for lunch comes in handy? Whatever point he’s trying to get across, it looks like it’s humor that drives the bus on this.  Better yet, maybe he’s telling fans that through it all, he hasn’t lost his sense of dry humor. Tune in to TLC Sunday at 8 pm local time to watch Colt navigate his crumbling marriage on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After.
