90 Day Fiance fan-favorites Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi marry, fight monkeys, and deal with her mom’s illness on Happily Ever After. The new season of the TLC spinoff kicks off June 14, on Sunday, and if you love the Georgia grandma and her Nigerian boy toy, you’ll be thrilled.
90 Day Fiance: Angela Deem Marries Michael Ilesanmi in Nigeria
Last we saw on TV, Angela Deem fumed as she learned Michael Ilesanmi’s K-1 wouldn’t be approved. So, she relented and admitted they must consider a foreign wedding to get a spousal visa. This season on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Angela travels to Africa to get hitched.
As usual, there’s talk of Michael Ilesanmi scamming her and Angela Deem raging at her husband. Let’s hope their wedding cake survives better than the last pastry she shoved in Michael’s face during a bitter argument. They were last season on the regular 90 Day Fiance franchise.
Then, Angela Deem jetted home, got cosmetic procedures to get camera-ready, then headed back to marry Michael Ilesanmi. They married in January 2020 with TLC cameras rolling. So, we’ll see that on this season of Happily Ever After.
Angela Freaked out by Monkeys – While Michael Laughs Stuck on Happily Ever After
Watch on 90 Day Fiance as Michael Ilesanmi deals with more of Angela’s antics as she accuses him of scamming her. If he is, it must be a long con since this romance has been going on for years. There’s a funny scene at an animal park where Angela calls monkeys “hateful.”
TLC camera crew must have a thing about monkeys. Remember on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, where they tucked a banana into Ed Brown’s backpack so monkeys would swarm him? Now, it’s her turn as Michael laughs off her fear and plays with the little creature.
There are threats from Angela to call off the wedding in 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After scenes. However, we know they married. But, with a total ban on visas from Nigeria now in place, it’s doubtful Michael can come to American anytime soon to be with Angela.
Angela Loses Her Mom Right After January Wedding on 90 Day Fiance
But expect lots of sadness too on the TLC follow-up series. You might remember why Angela Deem refused to marry in Michael’s homeland. She wanted her mother, Glenda Standridge, to be at her wedding.
However, given Michael Ilesanmi’s visa issues, Angela had no choice. So, in early 2020, she went back to Nigeria and married Michael. You’ll see scenes of Angela worried about her 78-year-old mother’s health issues before she traveled for her wedding on 90 Day Fiance.
Just 12 days later, she lost her mom Glenda. All this is part of Happily Ever After‘s new season. Watch starting this Sunday to see Angela Deem jet off to put a wedding ring on Michael Ilesanmi on the TLC spinoff.
