’90 Day Fiance’: Anfisa Outraged by Jorge Nava’s “Excessive” Prison Sentence

90 Day Fiance star Anfisa Arkhipchenko is speaking out and talking about how she is doing after her husband Jorge Nava found out he would be going to prison. This is going to be a hard time for the two. It will be interesting to see if they can make it.

Anfisa Arkhipchenko shares her thoughts

If you missed the news, Jorge Nava is actually going to prison for two and a half years. His wife is really going to miss him during this time. Jorge and Anfisa have had some issues over the years, but the couple is together now and they say they are going strong.

Anfisa is actually really upset over this jail sentence. She revealed her thoughts saying, “Honestly, it feels like Jorge is not the only one serving his sentence, but I am too. Now I literally have nobody here in the United States and I’ve just been trying to stay busy with school, going to the gym. I’m trying not to think about the whole situation.”

Some followers are telling her that Jorge should have to do the time for the crime he did. Anfisa of 90 Day Fiance actually feels like his sentence is “excessive.” Jorge started out being charged with a class 4 felony. It was later dropped to a class 2 felony. Things actually could have been a lot worse for him.  Anfisa did share that there is a chance he might get eight months taken off of that sentence even.

What did Jorge Nava of 90 Day Fiance do?

Jorge Nava was actually on a trip without Anfisa Arkhipchenko when the arrest happened. There was some speculation at first that she might have turned him in because of their issues in their relationship. That doesn’t seem to be the case, though.

The 90 Day Fiance star was caught with 293 pounds of marijuana. He was allegedly trying to sell it. Jorge has never been shy about this being his job. The issue is that in some states weed is legal and that in other states it isn’t. Some places you can use it for recreational use and in others, it is only for medical use.

Jorge and Anfisa did consider an appeal but decided against it because they think the judge was using him to set an example. They were afraid that he would get the same judge. The couple decided for him to just go to prison and serve his time. Jorge plans to behave while he is there and see what happens. Maybe he can get out early because of good behavior.
