1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is allegedly getting dropped from the filming of season 3. The reason why she’s being dropped is upsetting to many fans.
1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Gives Up on Diet
Tammy Slaton isn’t doing well with her diet, according to her family. In season 2 of 1000-lb Sisters, Amy Slaton, Tammy’s sister, addresses her sister’s eating in secret. Amy Slaton and Chris Combs, Tammy’s half-brother, talk about how they may have to bury their sister. At Tammy’s last doctor’s appointment with Dr. Procter, he gave his patient less than five years to live. That number was shocking to Chris and Amy, who realize how scared they are that they’re going to lose their sister.
Amy works hard to help her sister get healthier. So, she ends up ordering Tammy a meal kit so she can start to make healthy meals for herself. Yet, as she’s cleaning Tammy’s house, she learns a devastating secret. On 1000-lb Sisters, Amy says her sister managed to eat more than thirty meals in a period of two days. After sharing this information with Chris, the family’s worries continue to escalate.

After taking another trip to a new doctor closer to her in Kentucky, Tammy learns that she manages to put on fifty pounds in one month. However, this life-changing weight gain isn’t enough to stop her from making poor food choices.

1000-lb Sisters: Long Hospital Stay for Tammy
1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is rumored to have been staying in a hospital to receive help losing weight. After nearly ending up on life support when she was sick with COVID-19, Tammy realizes she needs to get her health together. So, she announces a split with Jerry Sykes and shares she’s going to admit herself into a nursing facility. Then, Tammy says she’ll put herself in the facility to lose enough weight for gastric bypass surgery approval.
However, TLC says she isn’t able to find a facility in Kentucky. Also, accusations from Tammy’s former business partner, Quincy, say that she was in a facility. Yet, he claims she’s out of the facility because she put on weight.
Removed from Help, Removed from Show?
An insider source that wishes to remain anonymous says there’s a possibility that Tammy Slaton is going to be removed from 1000-lb Sisters. The person says if Tammy Slaton doesn’t get her surgery, she’ll be kicked off of the TLC show.
Also, the person who says this claims that if she’s dropped by the TLC network, she may get picked up by another network.

1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Caught Filming
However, it does appear that there is some hope for the 1000-lb Sisters personality Tammy Slaton. Recently, a fan found her filming outside of the Georgetown Bariatric Center in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is the filming location of Tammy’s current bariatric surgeon, who is also working with Chris Combs to help him get gastric bypass surgery.
In this picture that she’s spotted in, Chris Combs is wheeling his sister out of the medical facility. As Chris is pushing his sister out of the facility, Brittany is following closely behind. Brittany is the wife of Chris Combs.
Also, Tammy Slaton, the 1000-lb Sisters personality says she isn’t able to show off anything below her face. She says it’s a breach of her NDA contract with TLC to show off her body. Next, she says people will have to wait until season three to learn the most recent updates about her weight loss journey.
