On 1000-lb Sisters, Amy Slaton talks about how she’s ready to take her weight loss seriously. She says losing weight is the hardest thing she’s ever done in her life. But, she’s ready to continue making changes to create a healthier lifestyle for herself and for her family. After traveling back from a trip, Amy talks about a new milestone she’s reached. She says she and her husband didn’t stop off for fast food anywhere, which is something new and different for her.

1000-lb Sisters: Amy Slaton Parts from Her ‘Big Daddy’

Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters says her biggest mission in life is to lose weight. So, to make sure she stays on track with her journey, she throws out all of the food in her house. After medical professionals reveal that weight loss starts in the kitchen, Amy goes through all of her cabinets to check to see what she’s got that’s unhealthy. Then, Amy says all of her food is going into the trash.

Next, Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters says she’s going to throw out all of the junk snacks in her house. Also, she’ll be throwing away all of the stuff she isn’t allowed to eat. Amy says she’s got to stop drinking “sodies” and eating cookies. Also, she says throwing away all of the bad food in her house is like an “homage to being healthy.”

As Amy from 1000-lb Sisters goes through her cabinets, she tries to talk to her sister Tammy Slaton about keeping sloppy joe mix. However, Tammy points out that the sloppy joe mix is sweet. Then, she opens up her fridge and starts to throw away all of the condiments she has. She pulls out ‘big daddy’, which is a ten-pound roll of ground beef. However, Tammy says it has to be thrown away because it isn’t “ground turkey.” A sad Amy says goodbye to the hunk of ground meat.

Aspiring Mom Comments on Empty Fridge

Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters takes a look at her fridge after pulling out all of the food she isn’t able to eat. She says her refrigerator looks bare, as she stares at the package of sodas in the icebox. Tammy Slaton asks what Amy’s going to do with the sodas, but Amy insists they belong to Michael. However, she says it’s going to be “extremely difficult” not to reach for a pop. That’s why Tammy argues it’s important for them to get rid of the soda.
